We are back with another week of FanDuel DFS for The Farmers Insurance Open. We have a lot more exciting names in the field this week than we are used to and that will make for some interesting selections at the top of the board.
In this article, we'll discuss some of the standout PGA DFS plays available on FanDuel for the 2023 American Express. While it's impossible to hit on every player, we'll touch on some different plays across all price ranges, breaking the groups down into "High," "Mid," and "Low" price options that are worth considering.
Like always, the purpose of this piece is to help you put together your optimal daily fantasy golf lineups for FanDuel, whether that be from a GPP perspective or a cash-game mentality. Be sure to also read all of our other top-notch weekly PGA DFS and betting articles to help you win big!

FanDuel Strategy Nuances (PGA DFS)
Before we dive into the FanDuel plays for this week, we are going to be comparing the prices of golfers on the FD slate to that of the DraftKings slate, in order to figure out some value for the respective golfers. We get an extra $10,000 ($60,000 salary limit in FanDuel) to spend on the same six guys, so there is an opportunity to build some really optimal lineups if we find the right guys. The average increase per player should be $1,666.67 ($10,000/6).
We have tons of great weekly PGA articles, DFS analysis, tools, and DFS advice. Be sure to read our other fantastic articles regarding this week's event, including DFS lineup picks for DraftKings/FanDuel, betting advice, DFS prop picks, and course previews.
High-Priced FanDuel DFS Plays
Below is the difference in salary between the two DFS platforms using the downloadable research station that is part of our Premium Packages available to you. Use code: "MANIAC" for 10% off an already great deal.
Tony Finau ($11,400, $800 difference)
Tony Finau sees himself drop from the second most expensive golfer on DK to the fourth most expensive on FD. Finau has incredible course history here and has won three of his last 10 events. He is a great pivot off of Jon Rahm who is exorbitantly priced and will garner an insane amount of ownership for somebody that expensive. Finau's salary allows you a little more flexibility down down board, as he is $1000 cheaper than Jon Rahm.
Max Homa ($10,300, $1,500 difference)
Max has been in fantastic form of late and tees it up in his home state of California for the first time this year. His T3 finish at the Tournament of Champions is even more impressive if you consider the fact that he lost just shy of two strokes to the field in his first two rounds. He has typically played his best golf on tougher courses and has definite win equity at a very affordable $10,600.

Mid-Priced FanDuel DFS Plays
Mid-priced salary differences. Notice how much more red we see in that difference column in this range versus the high-priced range. Bare that in mind when deciding which players to play on either platform.
Keegan Bradley ($9,800, $1,500 increase)
Keegan Bradley recently won the ZOZO championship which can be considered a comp course to Torrey South and on top of that he has three top-16s in his last five appearances here. Keegan offers the ball-striking repertoire that this course demands, but his inconsistent short game has him priced in the mid-tier range, which is just fine. The course history and physical capability is there for Bradley, who can shuffle his feet closer to a Ryder Cup appearance with a win.
Adam Hadwin ($9,400, $1,200 increase)
Adam Hadwin has reasonable course history here if you ignore last years missed cut. He seems to be playing much better golf again and is one of the bigger salary savers across the two platforms. If he can improve on his T18 from two years ago he should return some value for you in your lineups at this price.
Low-Priced FanDuel DFS Players
The below golfers are all candidates to round out your player pool based purely off of their last two starts at Torrey Pines.
Doug Ghim ($7,300, $500 increase)
Doug Ghim sees one of the smallest increases in salary across the two platforms and has three top-40s in his last four starts. This is incredible course history for a golfer priced this cheaply.
Kevin Streelman ($8,100, $1300 increase)
Kevin Streelman has finished T45 or better in 80% of his starts spanning back to 2018. He is also very affordably priced at $6,800 for a golfer who can hopefully provide you with some safety in this salary range.
Peter Malnati ($7,200, $900 increase)
Peter Malnati does not have as deep a course history as our other two golfers in this section, but in his last two starts he has finished T25 and T10. He arguably offers more upside than Streelman and Ghim, but is priced this cheaply for a reason.
