Is it over yet? I'm still having nightmares after watching my beloved Steelers lose a second straight game to a two-win team last night. Both games were at home, too, and the Steelers have finally been exposed for the pretenders that they have been all season. We are indeed entering that part of the schedule where actual contenders are about to separate themselves from the rest of the pack.
This is probably the most loaded NFL DFS slate we have had in several weeks. Not only do we have a duel between elite QBs in Mahomes-Allen, we also have the return of Justin Jefferson, the unfadeable Christian McCaffrey, and some games that look like they could end up going over their totals. Strap in, because this week should be a wild one.
In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 14 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Justin Fields vs. DET ($7,900)
I thought that having both Mahomes and Allen on the slate might leave us with a more lightly-rostered Fields in a pretty sneaky good spot. But Fields should carry some rostership on Sunday based on his rushing dominance in prior matchups against the Lions, including a 100+ yard outing just a few weeks ago.
The Lions have struggled against other mobile QBs this year and last, too, it hasn't just been Fields.
Detroit Lions against hyper-mobile QBs over the last two seasons:
- 24.7 DK FPs (15.0 rushing) to Jalen Hurts (W1, 2022)
- 43.4 DK FPs (29.7 rushing) to Justin Fields (W10 2022)
- 30.9 DK FPs (13.8 rushing) to Josh Allen (W12 2022)
- 21.2 DK FPs (16.2 rushing) to Justin Fields…— Jake Tribbey (@JakeTribbey) December 4, 2023
No other QB on this slate carries that type of rushing upside other than maybe Lamar Jackson. This game has only a 43.5-point total, but I have a feeling both offenses are productive and we see this one shoot out a bit. If Fields can toss a few touchdowns while continuing to run wild, he could easily be the highest-scoring QB and a potential GPP-winning play. The stacking options are pretty easy to identify, too, with the majority of his throws going to DJ Moore or Cole Kmet. There's really no reason you shouldn't have that trio in some tourneys this Sunday.
Joshua Dobbs @ LV ($7,300)
Another QB who has made some noise this season with his scrambling ability is Josh Dobbs. After being discarded by several organizations in the first few years of his career, he got the chance to start in Arizona and played so well that they had to trade him to the Vikings when Kyler Murray was set to return.
With Kirk Cousins out for the season, this looks like Dobbs' job to lose. After throwing four interceptions in Week 12 and having his worst start of the season, the Vikings have decided to stick with him for at least one more start. I am not sure if that speaks to their confidence in Dobbs' ability to bounce back or their lack of confidence in their other options, but either way, he's going to be under center against the Raiders this weekend.
And while the Raiders' defense has quietly improved late in the season, they are still a secondary that we shouldn't fear targeting. The impending return of Justin Jefferson should be a massive boost for this passing game, not only for what he can bring to the table on his own but also because it's going to force defenses to find where he lines up every play and adjust their coverages. I would expect guys like T.J. Hockenson and Jordan Addison to find it easier to get open this week with Jefferson stretching the defense and commanding so much attention.
Dobbs has been a gamer this year and I think he's going to be up for the challenge in this one. He knows his job is on the line and so is the Vikings' season and playoff chances.
Also Consider: Josh Allen @ KC ($9,000), Brock Purdy vs. SEA ($8,100)
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Bijan Robinson vs. TB ($7,100)
I am not going to waste my time and yours by telling you to play guys like Christian McCaffrey or the chalk du jour -- Zack Moss. You probably already knew that. But can you play one or both of those guys AND an underpriced Robinson, too? Yes..and you absolutely should do just that.
Bijan finally had his breakout game of the season two weeks ago against the Saints when he turned 19 touches into 121 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. Then he was held in check last week by a very good Jets defense; however, he still had 21 touches and is now averaging over 20 touches per game over his last three games.
It seems he has finally gained the trust of his coach and created some space between himself and his backup Tyler Allgeier, who has just 10, 10, and 8 touches over those last three games (and no touchdowns).
Tampa doesn't pop at first glance as a great matchup (17th in rush DVOA, 23rd in fantasy points allowed to RBs), but they are trending in the wrong direction lately. This Tampa defense allowed Chuba Hubbard to grind out 104 yards and two scores last week and 91 yards and two touchdowns to Jonathan Taylor the week before that.
Pro Football Focus has the Atlanta offensive line vs. Tampa Bay defensive line ranked as the top matchup for running games this week and we know it doesn't take too much of a hole for Bijan to wiggle through and then make guys miss in the second level. Let's just hope the rest of the field doesn't load up on Robinson and we can get some leverage in the process.
Javonte Williams @ LAC ($6,600)
Let's stay with the theme of saving some dough here on running backs. It's been another weird season in Denver this year, but the Broncos still find themselves in contention for a Wild Card berth heading into the final month of the season despite a tough loss to Houston last week.
Williams is cheap again this week, thanks to yet another paltry performance last week, and I think I am going to bite again. After a string of pretty tough matchups in a row, the Broncos finally get a team that they SHOULD be able to run the ball against here in the Chargers and their 22nd-ranked rush DVOA defense.

Rhamondre Stevenson had 40 yards in the first quarter against this Chargers team before he got hurt last week and I'm convinced that a good back can gash this defense if their offense can keep moving the chains down the field. The Chargers allow the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing RBs this season and this matchup on the line ranks third-best, according to PFF.
Also Consider: Christian McCaffrey ($10,500), Alvin Kamara ($9,000), Zack Moss ($6,800)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Ja'Marr Chase vs. IND ($7,900)
Chase struggled against the Steelers in Jake Browning's first start, but last week he erupted for an 11-149-1 line as the Bengals pulled off the upset of the Jaguars on Monday night. Browning played incredibly well and looked like a totally different QB now that he has a few games under his belt.

— Jesse Moeller (@JMoeller05) December 5, 2023
And yet here we are this week with Chase priced under $8k in another really good spot. The Colts have tightened it a bit lately, but have allowed some big games to opposing receivers this season and Chase is a matchup problem for any of their corners. The Bengals are going to make a point to scheme Chase the ball 4-5 times on short routes to let him do work after the catch and last week Browning showed that he's not afraid to throw the ball down the field to him when he gets single coverage either.
This game is sneaky good for DFS and I think we could see another potential shootout here like we saw the Bengals have with Jacksonville last week. Chase is far too cheap for his talent and target volume. He could end up being the top point-per-dollar receiver on the slate.
Rashee Rice vs. BUF ($6,300)
Speaking of target volume, did you notice that Rice has eight targets now in back-to-back weeks? So much of the talk following the Chiefs' loss to the Packers was about Kansas City having a terrible WR room and failing to surround Mahomes with playmakers, but Rashee Rice is not part of that conversation. The rookie has looked excellent when given the opportunity and you have to think that those opportunities are only going to continue to grow each week going forward as opposing defenses look to lock down Travis Kelce.
This game could go either way and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a shootout or a lower-scoring affair. But do I want Patrick Mahomes's top target for only 6300 bucks? Yes, please. Do I want a 6'4" receiver with speed and great hands who is emerging as a potential star for only 6300 bucks? YES, PLEASE!
Also Consider: Justin Jefferson ($9,000), Courtland Sutton ($7,200), Elijah Moore ($6,200)
FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Cole Kmet vs. DET ($5,600)
I mentioned my affinity for Justin Fields earlier in this piece, and while I skipped the chance to talk about DJ Moore, I wanted to talk about how good I think Kmet is and how much potential he brings to every slate.
PFF ranked their most valuable tight ends and Cole Kmet is ranked at 4th in the NFL.
He has yet to drop a pass from 56 catchable targets. Kmet is having a really good year. #DaBears #Bears #ChicagoBears pic.twitter.com/acVMbRKlJ6
— Clay Harbor (@clayharbs82) November 30, 2023
He certainly gets overlooked at his position as we are often quick to marvel at the George Kittles and Travis Kelces -- or fawn over the up-and-coming youngsters like Sam LaPorta, Luke Musgrave, and Dalton Kincaid. But Cole Kmet is pretty damn good and simply produces every time he gets targeted.
He was held in check against the Lions last time out, but I think Chicago would be wise to look his way more often in this matchup. Detroit has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to TEs this season and the sure-handed Kmet could be the weapon that Chicago needs to open things up for this offense down the middle of the field. He's fairly priced and in a game environment that I firmly believe could be one of the best for fantasy on Sunday.
Also Consider: Isaiah Likely ($5,200), Brevin Jordan ($5,000)
