FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 12 Picks
Josh Allen, QB - vs. LAC ($8,600)
Kyler Murray is the costliest roster option at the quarterback position on Sunday. However, with an injured shoulder and a relatively challenging matchup on tap for the former Heisman winner, Allen could end Week 12 as the most productive signal-caller.
The Chargers have a collection of players banged up on the defensive side of the ball, which should allow Allen, who has had issues with accuracy over the years, to get his guys the ball. When that fails, the Wyoming product isn't bashful about getting it done using his legs. He had a rough four-game stretch but has since bounced back by averaging 32.43 fantasy points over his previous two outings.
Taysom Hill, QB - @ DEN ($7,300)
Hill may have been the highest-rostered option in DFS history as he was listed as a tight end in Week 11. With a $4,500 price tag and a 24.22 point output, it is safe to say fantasy managers got a solid return on value.
Now sporting a rostering cost of $7,300, the 30-year-old still has the potential to finish as one of the most productive options at the position. The hybrid signal-caller wasn't too shabby last weekend, and though he didn't throw a touchdown, he maintained a 78.3 completion percentage. He also threw for 233 yards and ran it into the end zone twice. Michael Thomas has been limited in practice all week due to a lingering ankle ailment but should be good to go on Sunday against the Broncos, which is also good news for Hill and his outlook.
Also Consider: Kyler Murray ($9,100), Patrick Mahomes ($9,000), Daniel Jones ($7,200), Derek Carr ($7,100).
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 12 Picks
Nick Chubb, RB - @ JAC ($8,400)
Even with Kareem Hunt in the mix, Chubb has gotten it done over the last several weeks. Against the Texans in Week 10, his return game from a knee injury, the 24-year-old racked up 126 yards and a touchdown off of 19 carries. In the week after against the Philadelphia Eagles, he had 20 attempts for 114 yards.
Chubb remains one of the most impactful fantasy options during the 2020 campaign, and while it would be nice if he found the end zone more often, the former Bulldog currently ranks second in the league with 2.9 YAC. As the Browns continue to ramp things up on the ground after Odell Beckham Jr. was lost for the year with a torn ACL, look for the third-year back to likely have his number called often in the weeks ahead.
Wayne Gallman, RB - @ CIN (5,700)
The Giants are favored on Sunday against a Cincinnati team that is without Joe Burrow, who severely messed up his knee in Week 11, Joe Mixon, and possibly Giovani Bernard. With Brandon Allen taking over under center, the probability may be higher for more three and outs.
As a result, Gallman could get even more chances to put up some sufficient numbers on the rushing end. He is averaging 13.5 carries over his previous four games and has scored five times during that span. With such a favorable matchup and generous asking price, Gallman may easily end up exceeding his value in Week 12.
Also Consider: Dalvin Cook ($11,000), Derrick Henry ($8,300), James Robinson ($7.400), Nyheim Hines ($5,700), Brian Hill ($5,100), Jordan Wilkins ($5,000)
FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 12 Picks
Stefon Diggs, WR - vs. LAC ($7,900)
Diggs is having one hell of a 2020 campaign and has been a big reason Josh Allen has flourished. Entering Week 12, the former Viking leads the league in drops but has made up for it by ranking second in receptions (73), targets (101), and yards (906).
The Chargers may also be without some key personnel on the defensive end of Sunday as Casey Hayward Jr., Melvin Ingram III, and Uchenna Nwosu all have not practiced this week, putting them all at risk of not suiting up on Sunday. If this is the case, Diggs may get more opportunities to put up some significant numbers on the offensive end.
Sterling Shepard, WR - @ CIN ($5,400)
Shepard has practiced in a limited capacity this week due to a hip issue but should be good to go in Week 12 against the Bengals. The veteran has battled through this ailment over the last several weeks but has still been targeted at least eight times in three of his previous four games while also hauling in six catches in all four of them.
When available, Shepard is one of the most talented options in the league. He has a favorable matchup against the Bengals on Sunday and should be considered a low-risk, high-reward option this weekend. If he does miss for some reason, feel free to pivot to Darius Slayton, who has had sporadic quality outings all year.
Also Consider: Keenan Allen ($8,200), Justin Jefferson ($7,000), Robby Anderson ($6,400), Corey Davis ($6,000), Curtis Samuel ($5,900), Michael Pittman Jr. ($5,700), Jerry Jeudy ($5,700), Cole Beasley ($5,400)
FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 11 Picks
Travis Kelce, TE - @ TB ($8,000)
It's either Kelce or bust in Week 12. Filled with inconsistent performances and disappointment, the tight end position has never been uglier. Luckily, Kelce is available, even though fantasy managers will have to pinch their pennies to obtain his DFS services.
The veteran has been as stable as it gets, nonetheless. In his previous three games, he has been targeted by Patrick Mahomes 34 times in addition to racking up 26 receptions, 395 yards, and two touchdowns during that span. Get him in your lineup.
Also Consider: Darren Waller ($7,100), Noah Fant ($5,700), Kyle Rudolph ($4,600).
