Week 9 featured some impressive performances. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had a monster showing by throwing for 470 yards and five touchdowns in the comeback win over the Buccaneers. Yet, Stroud wasn't the only rookie who made some noise for fantasy managers, with Keaton Mitchell, Dalton Kincaid, and Tank Dell, to name a few, each producing well above expectations.
On the other hand, the young guys weren't the only ones getting it done, as familiar faces, specifically CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, and Josh Jacobs, were some of the highest-scoring fantasy options in Week 9. Nevertheless, we are beyond the halfway point of the year, and as usual, injuries will create plenty of opportunities for DFS participants.
In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 10 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel. FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks
Justin Herbert – vs. DET ($8,500)
Herbert is back on the injury report heading into Sunday's meeting with the Lions. He's been dealing with a finger issue for weeks, although it shouldn't keep him off the field in Week 10. The 2020 No. 6 overall pick signed a lucrative contract extension in April, and many had anticipated the Chargers would be one of the best teams in the NFL this season. But that hasn't been the case, with Los Angeles sitting on a .500 record.
There are things the Chargers need to work on. Yet, most have directed the blame toward Herbert. While he hasn't had a horrible year, it's safe to say he has underperformed. Still, Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and though the Lions defense has played well enough, it still has flaws, meaning the signal-caller could turn things around in a potential shootout between two high-powered offenses.
Joe Burrow – vs. HOU ($8,200)
Are the Bengals back? Some would say Cincinnati is once again the best team in the AFC. Others would label them as the top team in the National Football League. But not everyone is convinced the Bengals are for real, although Burrow is back to playing at an elite level. Everyone knows the 2020 No. 1 overall pick didn't look great to begin the year. However, Cincinnati's bye week did wonders, allowing Burrow additional time to rest his ailing calf.
Since then, the former LSU Tiger led his club to wins over the San Francisco 49ers and, most recently, a victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. In those contests combined, he threw 631 yards and five touchdowns (no picks) while also completing 77.6% of his attempts. Burrow is moving around better than he was, enabling him time to find open receivers. With that said, there's no reason why he won't keep playing well versus the Texans on Sunday, even if Ja’Marr Chase or Tee Higgins don’t up.
Also Consider: Jared Goff ($8,000), Geno Smith ($6,900)
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks
Austin Ekeler – vs. DET ($9,000)
Ekeler began the season with a bang, accumulating 24.4 fantasy points in the season-opening loss to the Miami Dolphins. However, fantasy managers would be without him for over a month because of an ankle injury. While he didn't look great in the two games following his return, he's been a nightmare for opposing defenses in the last two weeks.
Granted, Ekeler hasn't been the most efficient rusher. On the other hand, he has been involved heavily as a pass-catcher. That shouldn't change in Week 10 against the Lions, especially since Justin Herbert has no reliable options after Keenan Allen.
David Montgomery - @ LAC ($7,500)
Montgomery missed the last two games after injuring his ribs in the Week 6 win over the Buccaneers. While the former Bear hasn't received the official green light, he has practiced in full during the week, so he should be out there against the Chargers. Without question, Montgomery had been on a roll before the meeting with Tampa Bay, rushing for at least one touchdown in each of his four games this season.
Naturally, fantasy managers are concerned with how much work he'll receive in his first game back, assuming he plays. Then again, the Lions are looking to advance deep into the postseason, meaning head coach Dan Campbell wouldn't put Montgomery out there if he weren't 100%. Expect the backfield arrangement to return to normal in Week 10, with Montgomery getting most of the touches while Jahmyr Gibbs will get the majority of the targets from Jared Goff.
Also Consider: Tony Pollard ($7,800), Joe Mixon ($7,700), Bijan Robinson ($6,600)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks
CeeDee Lamb – vs. NYG ($8,900)
Lamb has had an up-and-down 2023-24 campaign. He only had one touchdown in his first six games, so fantasy managers were naturally disappointed with the output. Still, nobody expected he would struggle forever, with the wideout finally breaking out in Week 8 versus the Los Angeles Rams, finding the end zone twice while catching 12 of his 14 targets for 158 yards.
Lamb had another impressive showing in Week 9 versus Philly, amassing nearly 200 yards off 11 grabs. Look for the 24-year-old to continue his dominant ways in the NFC East meeting with the Giants, with New York coming off a miserable loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Tyler Boyd – vs. HOU ($6,200)
There was a time when Boyd was the No. 1 receiver on the Bengals' depth chart. Yet, that changed when the team drafted Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase in 2020 and 2021. The former Pittsburgh Panther is nowhere near the player he once was.
Still, with both Higgins and Chase potentially missing the Week 10 showdown with the Houston Texans, Boyd could get plenty of attention from Joe Burrow. At the same time, Trenton Irwin would emerge as a high-upside value play.
Also Consider: Keenan Allen ($9,000), Amon-Ra St. Brown (8,600), Brandon Aiyuk ($7,800), DeAndre Hopkins ($7,100), Michael Thomas ($5,800), Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($5,600)
FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks
Sam LaPorta - @ LAC ($6,500)
LaPorta's stellar rookie campaign continues in Week 10 against the Chargers in a game projected to be the highest-scoring on the slate. The 22-year-old has provided routine production for fantasy managers all season. He's currently second on the team in catches (43) and receiving yards (434).
Surprisingly, LaPorta even has one more touchdown than Amon-Ra St. Brown, who has three. The 2023 second-round selection had a few rough games ahead of the Week 8 matchup against the Raiders. However, he made amends by having arguably his best showing of the season, grabbing eight of his 10 targets for 57 yards and a score.
Also Consider: George Kittle ($6,300), Trey McBride ($5,100)
