We have a thin Wednesday slate thanks to starting with a six game slate and plenty of injured/resting players. There's a a lot of value at some positions with others looking rather bleak, so I will largely be foregoing to pay up for safety at point guard and center.
However, there should be plenty of value available at SG, SF, and PF to make up for paying up. I'll be building my teams around Anthony Davis, as he's the only true superstar on the slate. He'll be widely owned, but for good reason.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Kyle Lowry- PG, vs. BOS ($8,100)
With an already thin slate that started at six games getting even thinner thanks to injuries/rest, there are some positions where you have to forget about shooting for 5X+ value and instead just aim for bankable points. Point guard is that position on this slate, as it certainly appears four out of the five top point guards on the slate won’t be in action tonight (the only with a reasonable chance of playing is Terry Rozier). That leaves Lowry as the most reliable option at the position, and there’s plenty of value elsewhere if he falls short.
Also Consider: Dejounte Murray-PG, @LAL ($6,600); Goran Dragic-PG, @ATL ($6,600)
Ben McLemore- SG @ NO ($3,800)
At this point, it’s easier to say who is playing for the Grizzlies in tonight’s matchup than who is out. With the mirage of players currently out, McLemore should be a safe bet for big minutes. With the players that have already been declared out for Wednesday off the court, including Tyreke Evans, Andrew Harrison, and Wayne Selden, McLemore has averaged .91 FD points per minute. That means he’d only need about 21 minutes to return 5X value at his price. That should be easy for him to attain, with 6X or 7X in sight.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Kyle Anderson-SF @LAL ($4,600)
Anderson isn’t much of a scorer, which is kind of a key aspect of basketball. Still, his steal and block upside makes him a decent player to speculate on tonight, especially given his price. The Lakers have struggled mightily against opposing small forwards for much of the season and that hasn’t changed lately, having allowed an average of 50.3 FD points per game to them over the past 10 games. Importantly for Anderson, they are one of the most generous teams in the NBA in allowing defensive stats to opposing SF, specifically among the easiest to rack up boards, steals, and blocks against. Those are the stats Anderson needs to clean up in to have a big night, so this figures to be a very positive game environment for him.
Anthony Davis-PF vs. MEM ($12,300)
The Pelicans continue to feel the heat to remain in the Western Conference playoff picture, so they can’t mess around with resting Anthony Davis. We’ve already discussed the depleted Grizzlies rotation, but even if the Pelicans roll, Davis should have enough time to rack up plenty of fantasy points. As the only true stud on the slate, he should be universally owned across just about every contest.
Also Consider: Ersan Ilyasova @DET ($5,000)
FanDuel DFS Centers
Jonas Valanciunas- C vs. BOS ($6,500)
Like point guard, the center position is rather ugly -- though that’s far more common at the position. The top options all have inflated price tags, so paying down to Valanciunas appears to be the best value proposition. He’s more of a cash type player, consistently returning 4X value on his price tag which is more than can be said for most of the rest of the options at the position.
Also Consider: Greg Monroe vs. BOS ($5,100) (if Rozier remains out)
