After some tight pricing on the Tuesday slate, things are a bit more open once again on Wednesday despite a similar number of games. That creates the possibility of stacking two top price options without really destroying the rest of a cash-game build.
The games I will be targeting include Memphis-Chicago as well as New Orleans-Sacramento. That's where most of the value appears to lie early on in the prep process for the Wednesday slate. I will be building around LeBron James on the slate, though his price is getting to the point where it is worth considering Giannis Antetokounmpo over him. Shooting guard appears to be the position to pay down at, with two fairly comfortable value options apparent on the slate.

FanDuel DFS Guards
De'Aaron Fox- vs. NO, PG ($5,800)
It appears that Fox is finally escaping the nightmare rotations of Dave Joerger as he has earned 27 or more minutes in six straight games. Fox has hit 5X value in three of those games and 6X twice while also returning under 3X value only once. That means he has shown a solid floor to go along with a 6X ceiling, an appealing target in good matchups. That should be just the case on Wednesday as the Pelicans are one of the most generous teams to opposing point guards, allowing the second highest FD point per game average to them this season. In the short term, that hasn’t changed as in the past five games they have allowed an average of 57.9 FD points to opposing guards thanks to their breakneck pace.
Justin Holiday- vs. MEM, SG ($4,500)
News broke as pricing dropped for the Wednesday slate that Justin Holiday and Robin Lopez would reenter the Bulls rotation, thanks to a little rotation from the powers that be in the NBA. That leaves them both priced down relative to their scoring potential. For instance, on the season Holiday has returned 5X value at this price a massive 67% of the time, 6X value 32% of the time, and 7X value 18% of the time. That isn’t to say there aren’t risks in this case, as there is no guarantee as to the quantity or quality of Holiday's playing time given his considerable time since playing. However, the matchup is there for him to take advantage of as the Grizzlies have allowed 60.6 FD points per game to opposing shooting guards over their past five games.

LeBron James- @ DEN, SF ($12,500)
The call between rostering Giannis Antetokounmpo or LeBron has tightened thanks to the widening price gap (now at $1,000), but the Giannis’ matchup against the Rockets steers me towards LeBron despite the price. Don’t be fooled by LeBron’s latest performance where he scored “only” 48 FD points as he didn’t play the entire fourth quarter thanks to the Cavs’ comfortable lead over the Pistons. That shouldn’t be the case tonight as the Nuggets are currently 2.5 point favorites, making minutes and floor safe for LeBron and making him the best cash game play on the slate.
Skal Labissiere- vs. NO, PF ($6,100)
The injury to Willie Cauley-Stein has stabilized Labissiere’s minutes and he has shown he can deliver on this price tag in two consecutive games. Meanwhile, the Pelicans are on the back end of a back-to-back set after a game against the Clippers with huge playoff implications on Tuesday night. That puts them in a position for a potential letdown game, though they aren't exactly defensive stalwarts regardless. With minutes coming more consistently and this larger context in play, I’ll likely rely on a couple Kings in my lineup tonight with Labissiere being one.
Also Consider: Aaron Gordon- @ LAL, PF ($7,600)
FanDuel DFS Centers
Marc Gasol- @CHI, C ($8,400)
Someone has to play and score in Memphis as the team continues to fall apart with injury/tank. This game will feature another tanking team in the Bulls, meaning the pace should be high with a lack of defense on display. As a result, Gasol has to be one of the top center considerations on the slate. He offers a floor similar to that of Andre Drummond yet comes at a discount of $1,600 so the price is right as well. He doesn’t boast the same ceiling of Drummond, but the context of this game puts Gasol in a good position to approach, if not meet 5X value on his price tag. Paying down too far at center is always a risky proposition, and that is once again the case as moving down a tier eliminates a safe 30 FD point floor.
