FanDuel DFS Guards
Victor Oladipo - SG, vs. NYK ($9,900)
Outside of Oladipo, many of the players featured at the two spot in the early contests on FanDuel are a gamble. He may cost you a bit, but at least you know what you are getting, which is consistent minutes, scoring, etc. He is coming off of a 35 point performance against the Celtics on Friday night, and if he can do that against them, there is no reason why he can't/won't do something similar against the Knicks.
Kyrie Irving - PG, vs. CLE ($8,400)
Irving is very, very generously priced for Sunday's matchup against the new-look Cleveland Cavaliers. Kyrie is averaging nearly 19 shot attempts per contest and is sporting a usage rate this season of 31.3 percent. You cant be rest assured that he will be extra motivated going up against his former team and as a result, everyone should make room for him in their lineup on Sunday.
Ish Smith - PG, @ ATL ($6,100)
If you are looking to save some DFS cash, Smith has been a guy who has been playing a good chunk of productive minutes. He has seen his usage rate drop 2.6 percent since the arrival of Blake Griffin, but that should be offset by a favorable matchup against a horrendous Atlanta team. Dennis Shroder shouldn't pose to much of an issue either as he has an underwhelming defensive rating of 108.4 this season.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
LeBron James - SF, @ BOS ($11,500)
Everyone should adjust their lineups accordingly and make room for The King. James has been a monster over the past few games, averaging 29.5 points and 17 assists over the last two games. Just like Kyrie, LeBron will also be fired up and should be dishing out plenty of passes to get his new teammates acclimated with their new home.
Blake Griffin - PF, @ ATL ($9,100)
Griffin actually looks like he is enjoying himself again in his new home. Since arriving in Detroit, Griffin is averaging 21 points, 7.8 boards and 6.2 assists. His field goal percentage is a little bothersome at times, but with Andre Drummond picking up a million rebounds per game, Griffin has been getting plenty of second chances on the offensive end.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Andre Drummond - C, @ ATL ($11,000)
When I mention the numbers 15, 20, 17, 27 and 17, what do you think? If you can't figure it out, those are Drummond's rebounding numbers in each of his last five games. Though he has struggled a bit on the offensive end, he most certainly makes up for it on the glass and his shot blocking ability. Atlanta has been atrocious in the middle all season, allowing 36.8 fantasy points per game. If you want to stay away from LeBron, at least consider making room for Drummond on Sunday.
