FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (12/18/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Not only is this article late, but half-way through my writing of it, it got deleted. So excuse my angry-ish tone. Honestly, it probably won't be much different from how I normally write. That being said, I am going to be even shorter than I was in my previous article, excuse the boldness. If you are stacking, look at the Wizards@Hawks and Lakers@Nets. Both games have a ton of value spread throughout and will be scoring a ton of points.

My top-tier options tonight are John Wall, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic and DeAndre Jordan. You might have to spread yourself thin elsewhere, but like I said, there is more than enough consistent value out there to let you go big.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/18/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Tomas Satoransky - PG, WAS @ ATL ($4,700)

The Hawks are ranked in the bottom five against opposing point guards and Tomas Satoransky has a window for him to be a perfect play tonight. He is cemented in the main rotation so he will see minutes with the starters, against starters. If this game turns into a blowout, Satoransky will be one of the consistent options running with the second unit. He is a bigger guard that can get to the rim, going up against a defensively-weak backcourt.

Torrey Craig - PG, DEN vs. DAL ($4,200)

Torrey Craig is solidly in the rotation so his minutes aren't in jeopardy whatsoever. The only problem is his production. It's consistently inconsistent. You never know when exactly he will have a good game, other than that's is for sure coming. His shots per game have been increasing and seeing how the Mavericks defense is borderline non-existent, Craig seems like a more than capable play tonight.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Lance Stephenson - SF, LAL @ BKN ($4,300)

Even though the Nets are one of the best team's at limiting opposing forwards, they don't have an anything to keep Lance Stephenson from being himself. It doesn't matter who you put in front of them and honestly, the better the defender the harder he will try to score directly on them. The Nets are loaded with hybrid defenders that Stephenson is drooling at the mouth at. The Nets forwards are on the bigger side, rather than the quicker side that would be better suited to stop Lance. All in all, think of it like this. Stephenson is in New York so you know he's trying to put on a show.

Markieff Morris - PF, WAS @ ATL ($5,000)

Believe it or not, this is actually a risky pick. The Hawks can keep games competitive but I don't know if I can buy into their stock tonight. The Wizards are slowly turning things around this will be Trevor Ariza's (re-)debut for the team, meaning this will be a different look Wizards. The Hawks have John Collins and Dewayne Dedmon in the frontcourt, but Morris is a stretch that relies on mismatches and catch-and-shoot opportunities, nothing that relies on the quality of the defender. As much as I like this pick in a vacuum, I worry that this game might get out of hand before Morris gets a chance to produce.

FanDuel DFS Centers

JaVale McGee - C, LAL @ BKN ($6,300)

This matchup between Jarrett Allen and JaVale McGee will be interesting to say the least. If we don't see a ton of easy buckets and blocks at the rim, then we are going to see a ton of limbs flailing around. Both players have really struggled to limit opposing centers despite being long enough to alter nearly every shot. The production against them isn't fair in their favor being the last-ditch wall of defense, but still, neither is really a top-level shot blocker. McGee and Allen might be going up to block every shot, but the execution will be spotty. I except McGee to easily double-double, but what I'm really waiting for is how many blocks both will rack up against one another.
