FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (12/15/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Corey Johnson highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 12/15/18, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

After an excellent Friday night of NBA DFS, tonight offers a great six game slate. The Laker/Hornets and Clippers/Thunder games have the highest game totals by a good margin tonight but there are some excellent plays spread out between all of the games. As with most Saturdays, multiple teams are on the second half of a back-to-back so be sure to look for minute and lineup updates!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/15/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Make sure you don't set your lineups too early and also be sure to check player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @cjohnson707 on Twitter if you have any question.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jeremy Lamb - SG, vs LAL ($6,100)

After an excellent performance last night, FanDuel decided to lower Lamb's price by $400 to $6,100. Lamb has been seeing bigs minutes and has been sneakily productive the last month (slightly inconsistent, but not terribly so). As mentioned above, this game against the Lakers is expected to be one of the higher scoring games of the night which should allow Lamb to be productive offensively. If Lamb gets his shot going early in this game, a 40 FanDuel point game is very reasonable- his shot attempts, assists, and rebounds have all been solid.

Russell Westbrook - PG, vs LAC ($11,200)

At the top of this slate sits Harden, who is coming off of the 50 point triple-double; LeBron, who's LeBron; and Westbrook, who may go over-looked tonight in what should be a high scoring affair against the Clippers. LeBron, Harden, and Westbrook all have fairly similar projections, floors, and ceilings so if Westbrook is going to be the lowest owned of the three, he becomes an excellent tournament option. Westbrook has 70+ FanDuel point upside and nothing about his matchup against the Clippers should scare anyone. In addition, Westbrook is $300 cheaper than LeBron and $800 cheaper than Harden.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Dario Saric - PF, @PHX ($4,600)

Saric has been seeing increased minutes due to excellent defensive play which has lead to a spike in fantasy point production, even while splitting minutes with Taj Gibson. Gibson has already been ruled out for tonight which should allow Saric to see at least 34-36 minutes. With that many minutes against the Suns, Saric is a near no-brainer in cash formats tonight and should be highly considered in tournament lineups- the only downside is that he will likely be heavily owned in large field GPPs. Regardless, Saric offers some great value with very little risk of a floor game.

Rudy Gay - SF, vs CHI ($6,700)

Other than LeBron and Paul George at the top, Small Forward is somewhat ugly for tonight. Of course, if you have the salary to play for LeBron or George, go for it, but Rudy Gay does provide some savings and a reasonably high floor and ceiling in a favorable matchup. In the last five game, Gay has three 40+ point FanDuel games, has been shooting well, and has been filling the stat sheet. Gay should be reserved as a multi-entry tournament play as he is somewhat risky- the Bulls provide a good matchup for Gay but a blowout and reduced minutes for Gay is possible.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Steven Adams - C, vs LAC ($6,900)

Adams has been dominating lately and tonight shouldn't be any different- an Adams and Westbrook stack looks very interesting for tonight. Just a month ago, Adams FanDuel price was at $8,200 and some relatively poor play dropped it down to a low of $6,700 last night. Clearly, it has increased a little but it is still far too low for what Adams is capable of. At $6,900, Adams has 8x upside and has a fairly high floor of about 25 FanDuel points. Adams can fill the stat sheet on any given night- tonight should be one of those nights. Adams is an great tournament play and a solid option in cash formats.
