FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/15/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

luka doncic NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

Juan Carlos Blanco highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/15/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We have a typically expansive Monday night slate on tap, with 11 games on the ledger. There aren't an inordinately large number of injuries, but there will still be some big names missing, with those absences naturally opening up opportunity for other players.

As is often the case with this many games on the docket, there are an abundance of candidates to choose from at every price point, which should make for an intriguing night of DFS play whether one dabbles in cash games or tournaments.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/15/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward and center on FanDuel, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle and lower end of the salary scale. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Luka Doncic, PG – vs. DEN ($10,600)

Doncic is up to averaging 47.9 FD points per contest after scoring 55.6 and 72.9 in his last two games. The boost has come from a big increase in assists, as Luka has recorded 10 and 15 dimes in those games. The opposing Nuggets held Doncic to "just" 32.2 FD points in his one previous encounter with them, but it's worth noting that tally was accomplished in a relatively scant 26 minutes. Moreover, Denver checks in allowing the eighth-highest offensive efficiency to point guards (27.1 percent) and giving up the sixth-most assists (9.3), fourth-most steals (2.4) and sixth-most FD points per contest (49.4) per game to the position as well.

Zach LaVine, SG – at LAL ($8,200)

LaVine has been under 40 FD points in each of his last three games, leading to a slight drop in salary. A favorable matchup against a Lakers squad that's struggled to play cohesively makes for a good time to bank on a potential resurgence, especially considering L.A. will remain without LeBron James (abdomen) on Monday and will be playing its third game in four nights as well. The Lakers are allowing the sixth-most points per home game (110.0) of any team and have yielded 41.3 FD points per contest to two-guards overall, while LaVine has delivered over 5x his current salary on five occasions already this season.

Dennis Schroder, PG – at CLE ($5,700)

Schroder just tallied 33.3 FD points across 35 minutes versus the Cavaliers on Saturday night and has been over 30 in four of his last five games overall. Those are excellent returns on his current salary, which he's already delivered over 5x return on in 10 contests. The Cavaliers have been highly generous to point guards all season despite playing some impressive defense overall, with Cleveland giving up the fifth-most points (24.6), third-most steals (2.5) and second-most FD points (51.1) per game to ones. With Jaylen Brown (hamstring) already confirmed out Monday, Schroder should once again be in for plenty of heavy usage.

Also consider: Spencer Dinwiddie ($6,500)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

DeMar DeRozan, SF- at LAL ($8,500)

DeRozan is another member of the Bulls that could certainly benefit from LeBron James' absence, and he'll enter Monday's game fresh off having put up 48.9 FD points across 37 minutes against the Clippers on Sunday night. The back-to-back scheduling isn't ideal, but DeRozan has been a steady force all season and has scored at least 34.4 FD points in all but one contest overall. The veteran wing is even shooting a career-best 36.7 percent from behind the arc, and he's sporting a 33.6 percent usage rate and average of 44.5 FD points per 36 minutes with Nikola Vucevic (COVID-19 protocols) off the floor.

Tyler Herro, SF – at OKC ($6,900)

Herro has also displayed an excellent floor all season, dipping below 32.9 FD points just twice in his last nine games and averaging 32.6 per contest overall. The sharpshooting wing could once again take the floor without Jimmy Butler (ankle) as well, and Herro boasts a team-high 27.7 percent usage rate and averages 35.3 FD points per 36 minutes without his teammate on the floor. Even if Butler does suit up, Herro has regularly seen starter-level minutes off the bench (33.3 per game) and is putting up a whopping 18.2 shot attempts per contest, so he should have plenty of opportunity against a Thunder team with the fourth-worst defensive efficiency rating (21.7) in the league.

RJ Barrett, SF – vs. IND ($5,600)

Barrett checks in in the midst of a nightmare four-game stretch where he's shot 26.0 percent, including 15.8 percent from distance, while averaging 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 29.3 minutes. However, given his talent and the fact he's still averaging 26.1 FD points per contest, he makes for a very viable tournament option at his reduced salary. Prior to the current slump, Barrett was enjoying a rock-solid season that featured totals of 19.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest, along with 47.4 percent shooting, including 40.0 percent from behind the arc. Given Indiana ranks in the bottom 10 of the league in offensive efficiency allowed to SFs (22.2 percent) and is yielding 42.7 FD points per game to the position, Barrett is firmly in play.

Also consider: P.J. Tucker ($4,200)

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic – at DAL ($11,500)

Jokic already tallied 44.2 FD points in just 25 minutes in his one prior meeting with the Mavericks this season, a game where he logged a reduced workload due to some foul trouble. The big man has a pair of tallies of greater than 60 FD points in the last three games as well and unquestionably has the upside to deliver a strong return despite the sky-high salary. The Mavs are likely to be very good facilitators, considering Dallas is giving up the fifth-most FD points per game (57.7) to centers, along with the seventh-highest offensive efficiency (59.5 percent) in the paint.

Myles Turner – at NYK ($7,700)

Turner has been on a tear of late, averaging 42.0 FD points per contest over his last eight games on the strength of averages of 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 4.0 blocks. The veteran big man racked up his best tally during that span, 55.6 FD points, versus the same Knicks squad he'll see again Monday night. New York has allowed 52.7 FD points per game to centers overall, along with the fifth-most total rebounds (57.7) per home game, furthering Turner's chances of a successful encore performance.

Steven Adams – vs. HOU ($5,800)

Adams just put up 45.8 FD points against his old Pelicans squad Saturday night, and he's scored 29.4 or more in five other contests as well. His production has had some fluctuation as he's adjusted to his new Memphis digs, but Adams could be set for one of his higher-end performances Monday. The Rockets have continued to struggle defending the paint and post this season, as they check in allowing the third-highest offensive efficiency to centers (37.8 percent) and second highest in the paint (64.5 percent). To top it off, Houston is conceding an NBA-high 60.3 FD points per game to centers, a figure partly comprised of the Rockets allowing an NBA-high 26.6 points and 2.5 steals per contest to fives.

Also consider: Jonas Valanciunas ($8,800)
