FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Jacob deGrom - P, vs PHI ($11,800)
deGrom has been the best pitcher in the MLB this season. Through 28 starts, he owns an 8-8 record with a 1.68 ERA. He has also allowed one or fewer earned runs in each of his last four games. He hasn't allowed an earned run over 18 innings against the Philadelphia Phillies this season, and deGrom is a -170 favorite in a game set at 7 runs.
Trevor Cahill - P, vs TEX ($6,600)
Cahill has been playing at an elite level in Oakland this season. He owns a 5-0 record with a 1.09 ERA through nine home starts. He has allowed two or fewer earned runs in each of his last five home starts, and he gets a matchup against the Texas Rangers, who have struggled on the road this season. Cahill is a -215 favorite in a game set at 9 runs, as well.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Anthony Rizzo - C/1B, at WAS ($4,100)
Rizzo gets an elite matchup against Erick Fedde, and this is one that I'm going to attack today. He has been one of the best Cubs over his last 10 games, posting a .417 average with a .611 slugging percentage and a 1.123 OPS over that span. He has scored fantasy points in each of his last 10 games, and today should be no different.
Daniel Murphy - 2B, at WAS ($3,900)
Murphy is in the same boat as Rizzo today. He's hitting .279 with five extra-base hits, two RBIs, and one steal over his last 10 games. He has also been a significantly better hitter against right-handed pitching, as he features 0.164 wOBA and 0.127 ISO differentials against righties. He's another high upside option for Chicago.
Justin Turner - 3B, at COL ($4,400)
Turner is a player that can always be considered against left-handed pitching. He owns a .348 average with a .584 slugging percentage and a .236 ISO against lefties in 2018. Tonight, Turner gets a great matchup against Tyler Anderson, and he's one of the best options on the slate.
Hernan Perez - SS, vs SF ($2,400)
Perez gets a tough matchup against Madison Bumgarner today, but he can be considered for his current price tag. He's hitting nearly .300 over his last 10 games, and he owns 0.051 wOBA and 0.111 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. He's a much needed salary relief option on this slate.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Matt Kemp - OF, at COL ($3,400)
Kemp has been performing well recently, hitting .286 with a .464 slugging percentage and a .798 OPS over his last 10 games. He'll get a boost from playing in Colorado tonight, and Kemp gets a great matchup against Tyler Anderson. He has been a better hitter against left-handed pitching, as well, posting 0.002 wOBA and 0.057 ISO differentials against lefties.
Kole Calhoun - OF, at CHW ($3,100)
Calhoun has cooled off a bit recently, but he's still hitting .229 with three extra-base hits, five RBIs, and one steal over his last 10 games. He continues to be a dominant option against right-handed pitching, recording 0.014 wOBA and 0.084 ISO differentials against righties. He also gets a great matchup against Reynaldo Lopez today.
