There are 15 total games today, and I'm going to be utilizing players from the "All Day" slate. The MLB season is coming to an end, so we're seeing a lot of new faces, as teams get their young players valuable innings in the MLB. That generally adds a bit of potential value to most slates, making lineup construction a bit easier.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/23/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitcher
J.A. Happ - P, vs BAL ($10,000)
Happ has been throwing at an elite level, posting a 6-0 record with a 2.34 ERA over his last 10 starts. He has also allowed two or fewer earned runs in eight of those 10 starts. He gets a good matchup against the Baltimore Orioles, who feature one of the worst offenses in the MLB. Happ is also a -290 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs.
Hyun-Jin Ryu - P, vs SD ($9,500)
Ryu is another pitcher that has been throwing at an elite level. Over his last 10 starts, he owns a 3-3 record with a 1.98 ERA. He hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in any of those games, while shutting his opponents out in four of them. He gets an elite matchup against the San Diego Padres, and Ryu is a -235 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Joey Votto - C/1B, at MIA ($3,900)
Votto has finally caught fire for the Cincinnati Reds, recording a .306 average with a .444 slugging percentage and an .835 OPS over his last 10 games. Surprisingly, Votto has been a more consistent and more powerful option on the road this season. He will play in a pitcher friendly stadium, but gets a great matchup Trevor Richards today.
Travis Shaw - 2B, at PIT ($3,900)
Shaw has struggled a bit at times recently, but he owns 70% hard-hit and 52% fly ball rates with a 98 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He gets a matchup against Nick Kingham, and Shaw owns 0.132 wOBA and 0.222 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. He's also an extremely powerful option for a position with very few powerful options.
Brock Holt - 3B, at CLE ($2,500)
Holt has quietly been playing well recently, posting 53% hard-hit and 33% fly ball rates with a 96 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He has been a more powerful option against right-handed pitching, as well, owning 0.097 ISO differentials against righties. Furthermore, Holt is a cheap option that is hitting in the middle of one of the best offenses on the slate.
Jorge Polanco - SS, at OAK ($3,300)
Polanco's price tag is one of the most confusing on the slate. He's extremely cheap, but he's hitting .372 with five extra-base hits (two home runs), seven RBIs, and one steal over his last 10 games. He also gets a decent matchup against Trevor Cahill, and Polanco features 0.142 wOBA and 0.023 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Khris Davis - OF, vs MIN ($4,300)
Davis has caught fire over his last 10 games, hitting .308 with a .641 slugging percentage and a .998 OPS in those games. He also owns five extra-base hits (four home runs) and 11 RBIs over that span. Davis has been a significantly better option at home this season, as well, and he gets a good matchup against Kyle Gibson today.
Jorge Bonifacio - OF, at DET ($2,500)
Bonifacio has cooled off a bit recently, but he is still hitting .212 with four extra-base hits and six RBIs over his last 10 games. He features 38% hard-hit and 54% fly ball rates with a 94 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He has been a consistent option for quite some time, although his batting average doesn't represent that. Bonifacio also gets a good matchup against Daniel Norris today.
