We have an 11-game slate giving us plenty of options to pick from. A few high priced pitchers on the slate along with a game at Coors Field should give us a nice variety of options when we are trying to build out our lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 7/28/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Jacob deGrom - P, NYM @ PIT (FD - $11,800)
deGrom comes into today with 49 or more FanDuel points in three straight games, while adding seven or more strikeouts in each start. He has allowed three or fewer earned runs in each of his last 10 starts, showing why he is one of the elite pitchers in the league. deGrom is up against the Pirates, who have a 19% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which really isn't that high, so hopefully, deGrom can go deep into the game while limiting the damage to rack up points. Great cash game option on tonight's slate, while you would go to Verlander for tournaments.
Patrick Corbin - P, ARI @ SDP (FD - $9,600)
Corbin has a fantastic matchup today, as he is up against the Padres, who have a .298 team wOBA vs left-handed pitchers, which is in the bottom 10 of the league. Corbin has six or more strikeouts in three of his last four starts while allowing two or fewer earned runs three times in that same span. He has a fantastic park factor in his favor tonight being in San Diego, which should make him viable in all formats. The Padres have a 24.8% strikeout rate vs left-handed pitchers this season, which is third worst in the league.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Ian Desmond - 1B, COL vs OAK (FD - $3,800)
Always nice to get some exposure to the bats at Coors Field and Desmond is a perfect option for your lineup. He has a .398 wOBA and a .283 ISO vs left-handed pitchers this season, giving him massive upside in the best park in the league. Platoon advantage will be there and makes a great stacking option.
Alen Hanson - 2B, SFG vs MIL (FD - $2,300)
Hanson is very cheap and comes in with some solid splits vs right-handed pitchers this season. He has a .370 wOBA and a .256 ISO this season vs RHP, which are super solid numbers for a player at his price point. A bit of a punt play, where you just lock him into your lineups so you can get up to an expensive pitcher or hitters at Coors Field.
Manny Machado - 3B, LOS @ ATL (FD - $4,200)
Machado has been crushing it since the trade to the Dodgers and now finds himself up against a very young pitcher from the Braves. He has a .384 wOBA, a .238 ISO, and a super low 5% strikeout rate vs LHP. When he has a chance vs lefties, he rarely wastes it and has plenty of power upside.
Marwin Gonzalez - SS, HOU vs TEX (FD - $2,900)
Gonzalez has hits in seven of his last eight games, (not including last night) and seems a bit too cheap. He isn't really hitting for a ton of power, but he gets you some cheaper exposure to the Astros offense, who will be up against a Rangers pitcher, making his second career MLB start.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Adam Eaton - OF, WAS @ MIA (FD - $3,200)
Eaton may not be hitting for power right now, but he has five runs and seven walks in his last four games. Putting up points in other ways is always good, so as soon as he grabs a hit or knocks in a few runs, we are looking at big-time points. He has a .398 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers, which should be enough to get it done vs Trevor Richards.
Curtis Granderson - OF, TOR @ CWS (FD - $2,900)
Granderson will seemingly always be cheap and have solid power numbers vs right-handed pitchers. He hit a home run last night and will have a chance to repeat that performance tonight with .190 ISO vs RHP. He is up against Lucas Giolito, who is giving up 1.55 HR/9 to lefties this year.
