FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Logan Allen, SDP vs SFG ($9,300)
With only six games to choose from, the starting pitching options are pretty awful outside of Allen and Mike Minor. Allen has performed well through his first two major league starts, with just two earned runs allowed in 13 innings, good for two quality starts. His matchup against the Giants is ideal, as they're the worst team in the league against left-handed pitching with their .267 wOBA. Allen gets to face them at home in an extremely pitcher-friendly park, and he could easily be the top starter on the slate with this matchup, at $1,500 cheaper than Mike Minor.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Eric Hosmer: 1B, SDP vs SFG ($3,600)
Hosmer is one of the hottest hitters in baseball right now, batting .367 with a 1.010 OPS over the last 15 days. He should have a big day batting second for the Padres against Jeff Samardzija, who has an awful 4.71 FIP. Consider him as a high floor option to target in cash games.
Brandon Lowe: 2B, TAM vs BAL ($3,600)
The Rays lineup is a strong stack option against the trash Orioles pitching staff, so Lowe should be able to rack up runs and RBI out of the three-hole. He's got a fantastic 139 wRC+ against right-handed pitching, and righty Jimmy Yacabonis is slated to open the game for Baltimore.
Vladimir Guerrero, Jr.: 3B, TOR vs KAN ($3,200)
Vladdy is a power upside play at home in a hitter-friendly park against Royals starter Glenn Sparkman, who has a 1.63 HR/9 with just a 12.6% K-rate. While he's been cold lately, Guerrero can excel in this matchup and is a nice buy low candidate.
David Fletcher: SS, LAA at TEX ($2,500)
It's rare to ever get such a low price on someone batting leadoff, and Fletcher will be atop the lineup with the Angels facing a lefty. While his opponent in Mike Minor isn't ideal, Fletcher will see lots of plate appearances which increases his odds of production.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Yasiel Puig, CIN vs MIL ($3,400)
Puig is the gift that keeps giving to fantasy owners that were patient with him in the beginning of the season, as he notched two steals in last yesterday's contest. He's still at home in a hitter's environment where his power/speed combo can shine, making him a high upside GPP play.
Ryan Braun, MIL at CIN ($3,200)
Braun can do lots of damage as the Brewers cleanup hitter against Tyler Mahle, who has a 1.63 HR/9 and a 4.35 ERA. He should see lots of RBI chances and extra base hit opportunities.
