FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Noah Syndergaard - P, NYM vs ARI (FD - $10,300)
Syndergaard is in an elite spot on today's slate. Arizona ranks near the bottom in ISO, wOBA, and wRC+ against right-handed pitching this year. They also have the fourth highest K rate at 26% against righties. Top 10 ballpark for pitching and Noah as a K prediction of 7.4. Don't overthink it and just lock in Syndergaard.
Julio Teheran - P, ATL vs MIA (FD - $8,100)
Teheran is also in a great spot today. The Marlins are either 29th or dead last in ISO, wOBA, and wRC+ against right-handed pitching so far this year. Miami has the eight highest K rate in the league at 24.4% against righties this year Julio is a fantastic pivot from Syndergaard in tournaments if you can't afford him.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Matt Olson- 1B/C, OAK vs TOR (FD - $3,300)
Olson has been absolutely crushing righties since the beginning of time. He has an absurd wOBA of .425 and a .363 ISO against right-handed pitching. He has awesome statcast data as well to go along with his monster splits. Matt is pretty much an autoplay at this point every time he faces a rightie.
Ozzie Albies - 2B, ATL vs MIA (FD - $4,800)
Albies is continuing his amazing start to the season and he consistently demolishes left-handed pitching. He has great statcast data and provides immense upside leading off the Braves. His wOBA of .446 and ISO of .299 are some of the best in the league for hitters leading off against lefties.
Anthony Rendon - 3B, LAD vs WSH (FD - $3,600)
Rendon is in a terrific spot today against Alex Wood. He has been crushing lefties and has great recent statcast data. His wOBA of .435 and .304 ISO against lefties with his average batted ball distance of 235ft and exit velocity of 95mph makes him the top option at third base today.
Manny Machado - SS, BAL v@ BOS (FD - $4,900)
This is an extremely thin position on today's slate. Machado is really the only option with great upside honestly. He will be super popular with the lack of other quality options. He does have amazing splits against lefties with a wOBA of .353 and a .242 ISO against lefties. The only other option I would consider for tournaments is Tim Anderson.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Michael Conforto - OF, ARI @ NYM (FD - $2,800)
Conforto is in an elite spot today. He is possibly the top value option on today's slate with a ridiculous salary of only 2.8K! Not sure what FanDuel is thinking but we need to exploit and take advantage of the mispricing. He has incredible splits against right-handed pitching with a wOBA of .405 and a .234 ISO. He is way too cheap and one of the top options in the outfield today.
Joey Gallo - OF, TEX @ CHW (FD - $3,300)
Gallo has been destroying right-handed pitching his entire career. He has incredible statcast data and solid splits against righties. No need to bore you with all the numbers, you know the drill. At this point, if Gallo is facing a rightie then he is an autoplay. Especially if the wind is blowing out at 13-15 mph.
Giancarlo Stanton - OF, NYY @ KCR (FD - $5,000)
Stanton is in a phenomenal spot today. He has insanely monster numbers against left-handed pitching. His wOBA of .540 and .474 ISO are some of the best in the league against lefties. He does K often but if he connects with the ball it's most likely going out of the stadium. He has terrific tournament winning upside.
Good luck today RotoBallers!
