As usual with Monday's, we have a smaller slate on FanDuel tonight. The pitching options are rather slim given some tough matchups, but there are several stacking options availableas a result. The Yankees stand out as the most obvious and will presumably be exceptionally chalky. Some other options to consider also include the Cardinals and Orioles, who both face homer-prone starting pitchers.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/21/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Gio Gonzalez, SP vs. SDP ($8,800)
Gonzalez is coming off a mediocre start against the Yankees, but has had largely good results this season otherwise. He’s in a good spot to bounce back Monday against a Padres team that strikes out at the sixth highest rate in the league against LHP and ranks in the bottom third in both wOBA and ISO against them as well.
Chase Anderson, SP vs. ARI ($6,100)
Anderson is a GPP dart and among the cheapest SP on the slate. The Diamondbacks are a sneaky good matchup and one of the most strikeout prone teams in the league. Anderson is a nice SP to use to jam in a Yankees/Cardinals stack.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Jose Martinez, 1B vs. KCR ($3,500)
Speaking of the Cardinals, Martinez is one of my cash game plays on this slate. He and the Cards will get a matchup against Ian Kennedy who has allowed a .378 wOBA and 2.16 HR/9 to opposing RHB this season.
Yoan Moncada, 2B vs. BAL ($3,900)
Moncada has a 163 wRC+ when facing RHP this season. He gets a great matchup against Andrew Cashner on Monday, who has allowed 2.52 HR/9 and a .385 wOBA to opposing to LHB on the season. Add in the upside of a stolen base and Moncada is a great GPP play on the slate.
Manny Machado, SS @ CWS ($4,900)
Machado is a cash game lock thanks to his astronomical .340 ISO against LHP this season. The Yankees big bats are also in a good spot on Monday’s slate, but I’m locking Machado in first and foremost.
Christian Villanueva, 3B @ WAS ($2,900)
Villanueva broke out of his slump in a big way this weekend, and now benefits from facing LHP Gio Gonzalez. Though Gonzalez has been good (and is a strong play on this slate) Villanueva is worthy of a GPP one-off play thanks to his 291 wRC+ against LHP this season. His price is very low for a player with as much as power upside as him, which should help fit in other big bats.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
David Peralta, OF, @MIL ($2,900)
Peralta gets a positive park shift to one of the best parks for left-handed power in all of baseball. He has a modest price tag, which should be taken advantage considering he has shown a surprising amount of power (.236 ISO against RHP this season) and is now an environment should aid his production.
Marcell Ozuna, OF vs. KCR ($2,600)
Ozuna has been in a well-documented slump this season, but tonight presents a prime opportunity for him to break out of that. For a player with the talent of Ozuna, he is simply priced too cheaply and has the aforementioned positive matchup against Ian Kennedy.
Also Consider: Trey Mancini, OF @ CWS ($3,000)
