FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Chris Sale, BOS vs DET ($8,400)
While Chris Sale owners may feel like the sky is falling, it was encouraging that he was able to average 95 mph on his fastball in his last start, along with striking out six batters in five innings. This may be the start that Sale finally returns to form - it's the perfect opportunity against a dreadful Tigers lineup that has just a .256 wOBA versus lefties this season. There's a ton of room for profit with this price, but it's not a play for the risk-averse.
Jack Flaherty, STL vs MIL ($7,800)
Flaherty enters Monday with an ugly 5.00 ERA, but his 26.8% K-rate and 4.9% walk-rate suggest that there's positive regression on the way. He's got lots of strikeout upside against a Brewers linuep that has a 25.4% K-rate against right-handed pitching this year. Milwaukee has a strong lineup, but they aren't quite as scary when they're away from hitter-friendly Miller Park, with a .296 wOBA on the road. I'm digging Flaherty in GPP contests with his price.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
1B Ryan Zimmerman, WAS at COL ($3,400)
As the Nationals enter Coors Field, the league's most extreme hitting environment, everybody in their lineup becomes an intriguing play. Zimmerman is one of the cheapest bats you will be able to find in Coors, and should see plenty of RBI opportunities batting fifth for the Nats. He should be in the lineup after belting two homers yesterday.
2B Jonathan Villar, BAL vs CWS ($3,200)
Villar is proving to be a valuable fantasy commodity with six steals and three homers on the year. He's in a valuable spot batting leadoff for the O's against White Sox starter Manny Banuelos. Banuelos is an organization-filler arm, making him a pitcher to target.
SS Carlos Correa, HOU vs MIN ($3,700)
Correa looks much better this year and is rocking a 125 wRC+, so he could provide lots of value at this price. He gets a good matchup against Jake Odorizzi, owner of a 4.76 ERA.
3B Yoan Moncada, CWS at BAL ($4,300)
It appears that Moncada is blossoming into a fantasy superstar, as he's got an outstanding .317/.356/.610 line with six homers on the year. He's in line for a huge game in a hitter-friendly park against David Hess, who has an extremely high 3.00 HR/9 with an awful 6.71 FIP.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Mookie Betts, BOS vs DET ($3,800)
Betts is finally beginning to heat up, with six hits in his last three games. Now that he's back home in Fenway Park, Betts should see even more production. There's no reason for a player of his caliber to be priced so modestly.
Marcell Ozuna, STL vs MIL ($4,200)
Adrian Houser is making the first major league start of his career for the Brewers tonight, which means he could get roughed up by the Cardinals lineup. Ozuna has been a beast out of St. Louis's cleanup spot, with eight homers and a 1.034 OPS.
