For the Tuesday FanDuel lineup picks, I'll be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for the FanDuel main slate on 4/13/2021.
That means no Blake Snell, Nelson Cruz, or Jed Lowrie recommendations, nor any of their teammates. However, if I was going to include the early games, those first three would certainly be advised. For those of you looking for info on those early games, be sure to also check out all the MLB player news, including late scratches, and the projected and confirmed daily MLB lineups for each DFS slate.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Cash Game/GPP Anchor Play:
Stephen Strasburg - WSH at STL ($10,400)
I always have at least one lineup with "Cousin Stephen" when he pitches, but Strasburg will be in quite a few of my lineups tonight. He should be in yours too. He is coming off a gem last week when he pitched six scoreless innings, wrung up eight, and after that one start sports a microscopic 0.500 WHIP.
Strasburg is match-up proof, but this is definitely a plus match-up for him as well. The Cardinals have a league average dozen HRs and are hitting a blazing .216 as a team. Their hitters are also tied for the 11th most strikeouts (97) in the league.
Potential Alternate Play
Ryan Yarbrough - TBR vs TEX ($6,200)
Yarbrough got a little roughed up his last outing, but that's more the aberration than the trend. He has a 1.16 career WHIP. He also will be facing the Texas Rangers who had the second worst OPS in 2020 and doesn't look like they will be improving too much in that category so far this year either. At this low price, Yarbrough is worth the play.

FanDuel DFS Infielders
Travis Shaw - 1B, MIL vs CHC ($2900)
I'm not expecting Shaw to notch the 31.9 FanDuel fantasy points he had two nights ago. However. coming off of his .861 OPS season last year, expect Shaw to keep it going in 2021. Surprisingly 1st in RBI but also seventh in HRs, I love Shaw as a low-cost high-power potential option tonight. But Shaw is not the only infielder in the sub-$3k range I like tonight.
Brandon Lowe - 2B, TB vs TEX ($2,700)
After donuts in his last three games, Lowe's price is a little depressed, giving us a great buying opportunity. Let's not forget that Lowe has a career .838 OPS and posted a .916 OPS last season. Batting just .156 so far, some tremendous positive regression is coming. And against Kyle Gibson, currently sporting a 7.11 ERA, is as good a night as any other.
Jonathan India- 2B/3B, CIN vs SFG ($3,100)
I'm definitely liking what I am seeing from this kid. If nothing else, he has flashed a little leather:
We see you, @JonathanIndia. pic.twitter.com/Rm1hzNePGj

But he's also shown a nifty bat so far. He hasn't gone long yet, but he is hitting .355 so far in his rookie campaign. If this kid is not on your radar yet, he needs to be.
Carlos Correa - SS, HOU vs DET ($3,100)
Correa is on an eight-game hit streak and against Matthew Boyd, who had a miserable 6.71 ERA last season, I think he easily makes it to nine. Furthermore, I'm gonna steal from my compatriot Brian Entrekin, (check out his DraftKings preview for today), who looked at Correa's statcast metrics. As Brian says, "it is no joke as he has a maxEV of 116.4 mph this season with a 13.3% barrel rate and 53.5% HH rate. Correa is absolutely raking....". And the beauty is Correa is even cheaper on FD than he is on DK.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Juan Soto - OF, WSH at STL ($4,100) and Kyle Schwarber - OF, WSH at STL ($2,500)
Soto obviously comes with a much higher floor, but the impetus behind both of these picks is I don't believe in Jack Flaherty. Just because he's the top starter for St. Louis, doesn't mean he's an ace. He had an expected weighted on-base average of .341 last year. And he's even worse this year, albeit a smaller sample size, with a .387 xwOBA. The right-handed Flaherty unsurprisingly struggles more with lefties. And there are few lefties more talented in the league than Juan Soto, especially against righties.
In 150 plate appearances versus right-handers since the start of 2020, Soto has gutted them for a .288 isolated power, .520 on-base percentage, and 195 weighted runs created plus. I am willing to pay the premium on Soto for that. And we will be able to do so by balancing him with another lefty, Schwarber. At $2500, he is extremely affordable and has recorded an impressive .275 isolated power against righties over the last couple of seasons.
Alex Dickerson - OF, SFG vs CIN ($2,400)
I was very tempted to give you a high salary option here, but you can select the studs yourself. The low-salary punt plays are harder to find. And I'm actually a little surprised Dickerson is still in the sub-2.5K price range. San Francisco is not a hitters park, but Dickerson seems to like it just fine, posting .300/.417/.600 there so far this season. He had a .947 OPS last season. Dickerson is just continuing to do what he does, which is being a solid, productive ballplayer. I don't see his salary staying this low for long, buy him while you can.
