Tuesday brings more exciting Stanley Cup playoffs! The Western Conference Finals continue with Game 2 beginning at 8 pm EST. The Vegas Golden Knights will try and even up the series at one game apiece as they faceoff against the Dallas Stars. Dallas defeated Vegas in Game 1 by the score of 1-0.
Remember, an over/under of 6 dictates offense when looking around for plays, but an over/under of 5 or sometimes 5.5 tilts towards the goalies. With only one goal scored amongst the two teams in Game 1, tough DFS lineup choices will have to be made.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel for September 8, 2020. The picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. For Tuesday, DraftKings will be offering both Classic and Showdown contests. For Classic competitions, DFS lineups will be picked based on a pool of players playing tonight and tomorrow.

DFS Forwards to Consider
Max Pacioretty - LW, VGK vs. DAL (FD - $14,500, DK - ($15,300 Showdown/Classic $7,300)
Golden Knights forward, Max Pacioretty is due for a big game Tuesday night. Through the Knights' last four games, Pacioretty has been held pointless. Despite being pointless, Pacioretty helped DFS lineups in other ways with 32.8 FPTS during that time. The New Canaan, Connecticut native, has netted five goals and added two assists in two 12 Vegas postseason games. Pacioretty ranks 12th in the playoffs with 47 shots on goal. He has a shooting percentage 0f 10.6.
Jamie Benn- LW, VGK vs. DAL (FD - $15,500, DK - $8,600 Showdown/Classic $5,600)
Benns play has steadily improved with each Stars playoff game. The former Kelowna Rockets player has two goals and two helpers in his last five games. Through those five matches, Benn has added 12 shots on goal. On Monday, Benn assisted on the lone Dallas goal, which resulted in a Game 1 victory over Vegas.
Others To Consider
Like his teammate Max Pacioretty, Mark Stone will need to contribute more offensively in Game 2 tonight. Look for Stone to regroup and have a strong game tonight like he has played throughout most of the playoffs.
Alexander Radulov may be an option as a flex roster spot for Showdown contestants. The Russian winger scored a pair of big goals and had four shots on goal in a Game 7 win against Colorado on September 4.
Other forwards worth looking into include if competing in DraftKings Classic contests, which continues into Wednesday, Nikita Kucherov, Anders Lee, Ondrej Palat, Brayden Point, Brock Nelson, Mathew Barzel, Joe Pavelski
For DFS Showdown players, here are some players to consider, Tyler Seguin, Jonathan Marchessault, Joe Pavelski, William Karlsson.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Miro Heiskanen - D, VGK vs. DAL (FD - $10,000, DK - $,7,800 Showdown/Classic $ 5,400)
If you decide on a defenseman for a flex/utility spot for Showdown play, Miro Heiskanen could be a good fit. He obviously would be a wise choice for DraftKings Classic lineups as well. Heiskanen has a total of 46.4 FPTS in the Stars last four games, as his play has been excellent throughout the playoffs.
Other choices for Tuesday Showdown may include Nate Schmidt, Shea Theodore, John Klingberg.
Choices for Classic worth considering Mikhail Sergachev, Ryan Pulock, Devon Toews, Kevin Shattenkirk, Victor Hedman, Nate Schmidt, Shea Theodore, John Klingberg
DFS Goalie to Consider
Robin Lehner G, VGK vs. DAL (DK- $11,400 Showdown/Classic $8,200)
Marc-Andre Fleury G, VGK vs. DAL (DK- $11,400 Showdown/Classic $8,200)
Vegas has the best goaltending tandem in the league. Regardless of who starts tonight, it would be wise to take that netminder for DFS Classic and Showdown lineups. Despite a loss, Fleury stopped 24 of 25 Dallas shots on Sunday, while Lehner posted a shutout and made 14 saves in his last outing.
