We have an eight-game slate to look at tonight and we are starting to get a few games into the season, so we should be able to start looking at some more stats soon. Personally, I like Corsi For, which is an advanced shot metric shot which can help identify offensive opportunity.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

DFS Forwards to Consider
David Pastrnak - W, BOS @ OTT (FD - $8,200, DK - $7,400)
Pastrnak is one of the most expensive wingers on the slate, but you should be doing what you can to get him in both your cash games and tournament lineups. The Pasta man has points in six of his eight games this season and is taking over four shots per game. He is seeing time on the first forward line and the first power-play unit, which only boosts his potential upside. Love him in a stack tonight if you have the salary tonight.
Vincent Trocheck - C, FLA @ NYR (FD - $6,600, DK - $6,500)
Trocheck and the Panthers are up against the Rangers tonight, who are a team you want to be stacking against any time they are on the slate since they are so young and inexperience on defense. They also give up a ton of shots, which presents plenty of upside for opposing teams. Trocheck is on the second forward line and the first power-play, both of which make great stacking options.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Mark Giordano - D, CGY @ MON (FD - $5,400, DK - $5,900)
Giordano is always in cash game consideration for me since he has a solid floor of points, which come from a few different categories. He is taking about three shots per game while blocking over one shot per game, which is where the consistent points come from. The matchup also presents a bit of upside, since the Flames are up against the Canadiens, who have shown to be inconsistent on defense this season.
Henri Jokiharju - D, CHI vs ANH (FD - $3,700, DK - $4,700)
Jokiharju is pretty cheap across the industry and is seeing time on the first power-play unit for the Blackhawks, who are scoring nearly four goals per game. I would use him in a stack of the first power-play to try and get full value from him as he only really adds a few shots per game.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Alexandar Georgiev - G, NYR vs FLA (FD - $7,200, DK - $7,600)
Georgiev is cheap and makes a GPP play only tonight. He should be seeing a ton of shots tonight for a few reasons, so let's take a look. First off, the Rangers have a 50 Corsi Against so far this seaosn, which is bad. Second, the Panthers have an expected Corsi For of 48.5, which is fourth highest on the slate, so this lines up nicely for them to add a ton of shots. Well, that brings plenty of risk, but if Georgiev can only give up one or two goals and come away with the win, he will be in a great spot.
