NHL is back after the All-Star break and we have a smaller three-game slate tonight. We'll be back into the full swing of things with larger slates, but a nice way to get the action going with what should be three solid games.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

DFS Forwards to Consider
David Pastrnak - W, BOS vs WPG (FD - $8,100, DK - $7,500)
Pasta and the Bruins are facing off against the Jets, who are on the second night of a back to back, but not sure rest will be an issue here. He is up on the first forward line and the first power-play unit as you would expect, averaging over 3.5 shots per game, which should line up nicely vs the Jets who have a 46 Corsi against over the past month. We have a smaller three-game slate tonight, so there is certainly some merit to spending all the way up and taking a top forward like Pastrnak.
Boone Jenner - C, CLS vs BUF (FD - $4,400, DK - $4,600)
Jenner is a bit of a cheaper on this slate, but is likely a GPP option only, due to the fact he is on the second forward line and the second power-play unit. You can certainly stack him up with that power-play unit since the savings will allow you to get up to a top line from the Bruins or the Sabres, the later if you are looking to do a bit of a game stack here. Blue Jackets are -175 at home tonight, so plenty point in their direction and hopefully, some scoring.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Rasmus Dahlin - D, BUF @ CLS (FD - $4,800, DK - $4,800)
Dahlin had a good but not great start to his rookie season and still comes in at a reasonable price in DFS. He finished with 26 points and 96 shots in his first 48 NHL games, showing he can have a decent floor along with a bit of upside, which comes from the fact he is on the first power-play unit. If you want to get some cheaper exposure to Jack Eichel, this could be the route to do so tonight.
Kevin Shattenkirk - D, NYR vs PHI (FD - $4,500, DK - $4,600)
Shattenkirk and the Rangers are up against the Flyers who are on the second night of a back to back, meaning they are down to their backup goalie, Anthony Stolarz, who has allowed 29 goals in just nine games this season. The price on Shatty is nice tonight and with those savings, you should be looking to stack up the first power-play unit for the Rangers and attack a weaker Flyers team, who come in with a 49 Coris Against over the past month, which is last on the slate.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Alexandar Georgiev - G, NYR vs PHI (FD - $7,400, DK - $7,900)
Georgiev is already confirmed as the starter for the Rangers tonight and brings plenty of salary relief, specifically on FanDuel. The Rangers are in the bottom three in the league when it comes to Corsi Against, meaning they give up a ton of shots, which allows Georgiev to rack up plenty of saves. There is still a bit of risk here due to the volume of shots he sees but should be able to come away with the win as a -135 home favorite.
