Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking
These two stacks below are listed in my order of preference, with the final one (Padres) only to consider as a value stack.
- Astros LHB versus Colby Lewis. Consider: Luis Valbuena, Colby Rasmus, Hank Conger, Preston Tucker
- Mariners LHB versus Eddie Butler. Consider: Robinson Cano, Kyle Seager, Logan Morrison, Brad Miller
- Padres 1-6 hitters versus Willy Peralta. Consider: Yonder Alonso, Brett Wallace, Yangervis Solarte, Matt Kemp, Justin Upton
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel Cash Games
Ranking these cash game starters in my order of preference.
- Fancisco Liriano (SP, PIT) - 10,500
- Jon Lester (SP, CHC) - $10,000
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel Tournaments
Ranking these tournament type pitchers in my order of preference for tonight.
- Jesse Chavez (SP, OAK) - $7,600
- Lance McCullers (SP, HOU) - $6,700
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
A.J. Pierzynski (C, ATL) - $2,800
Ol' AJ is hitting the ball well over the past two weeks (.351 batting average) and usually hits in the meat of the order. He has a pretty favorable matchup with Matt Cain and a very favorable price tag.
Curt Casali (C, TAM) - $2,600
Definitely the top value play for today behind the dish. Casali has been absolutely crushing left-handed pitching this season (.692 slugging, .462 ISO), and he gets a ballpark bump today playing in Chicago.
Yonder Alonso (1B, SD) - $2,500
A great bargain play for a first baseman with solid splits, a hot streak and facing a pretty weak starting pitcher in an amazing park for power hitters.
Robinson Cano (2B, SEA) - $4,300
So the price is a little steep, but you can chalk that up to the "Coors Factor" and the fact Cano is slugging over .600 with three home runs in the past 14 days.
Logan Forsythe (2B, TAM) - $3,400
If you don't want to pony up the cash for Cano, Logan is your man this evening. Quintana has been pitching pretty well, but Forsythe has pretty strong splits, hits high in the order and gets a major park factor boost tonight.
Matt Duffy (3B, SFG) - $3,400
I've loved Duffy's play of late and the fact he's settled in the top of the San Francisco batting order. He's got strong splits against right-handed pitching and gets a slight park factor bump playing in Atlanta.
Carlos Correa (SS, HOU) - $4,500
I'm starting to get the feeling Correa is going to be the dominant offensive shortstop of the future in DFS, in that he'll likely always be two things: the top daily play and the most expensive middle infielder.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Preston Tucker (OF, HOU) - $3,100
I'm shocked one of my absolute favorite outfielders of the day has a price tag below $3,500, but I'm certainly not going to send in a complaint to FanDuel. Tucker should be hitting second tonight, has a real favorable matchup and is swinging a really hot bat.
Austin Jackson (OF, SEA) - $3,000
A leadoff man facing a poor starter in Coors Field with a run total projection of 9.5? Buy!
Mitch Moreland (OF, TEX) - $3,500
Keep an eye on the Texas lineup, because for reasons unknown to me, Moreland has been held out of it a decent amount lately, even when he's got a matchup to exploit. If he's in the fifth or sixth spot tonight, he'll be worth the price you pay for him.
