Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Sunday, August 30th. My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel. Additionally, since the weekends generally have many afternoon and night games, I’ll make an effort to distribute my picks to cover all the time slots going forward so that if you are playing an afternoon/night only league this article will still be useful.

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel

Noah Syndergaard (SP, NYM) - $10,900

His numbers at home are truly incredible. He's 7-1 in Citi Field with a spectacular 1.82 ERA all while striking out over nine batters per 9.

Lance McCullers (SP, HOU) - $6,700

DEAL OF THE DAY! Houston has been being careful with McCullers' innings, but when he's pitched he's been spectacular. He gets the start today in pitcher's friendly Target Field against Minnesota. He went seven innings with eight K's his last time out.

DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel

Buster Posey (C, SF) - $3,000

The best hitting catcher in the game is coming back from a little elbow discomfort. Posey is expected to be in the lineup here, and you should reap the reward at this price.

Troy Tulowitzki (SS, TOR) - $3,700

The value is too good here for the best hitting shortstop on a hot offense.

DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel

Andrew McCutchen (OF, PIT) - $5,100

It's a lofty price, but McCutchen has a favorable matchup against Rockies lefty Jorge De La Rosa. McCutchen has a career .330/.418/.575 against left wingers.

Khris Davis (OF, MIL) - $3,400

Davis didn't contribute much to Milwaukee's huge offensive day on Saturday, but my backing of him from yesterday's column stands. The other Chris Davis in Baltimore has gotten all the pub lately, but this one has 10 homers in August.

FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day

Victor Martinez (C, DET) - $2,400

This call is based purely on history. In 78 career at-bats against Mark Buehrle, Martinez has mashed four homers while hitting .359.
