Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking
You don't need to be told Washington/Colorado is a good stack. Here's another game to consider if you want to fade the public.
Diamondbacks against J.A. Happ
Another lefty on the mound, another chance to get those Diamondbacks in your lineup. And it won't cost a ton either. As a team the Diamondbacks strike out the least of any NL team (17.2%) vs LHP and have numerous bats with success vs LHP, including A.J. Pollock ($4,300), Paul Goldschmidt ($4,400), Yasmany Tomas ($2,600), and Aaron Hill ($2,300).
Honorable Mention: Marlins against Wily Peralta
DFS Starting Pitcher to Consider for FanDuel
Tyson Ross (SP, ATL) - $9,200
Tyson Ross doesn't get the love he deserves in FanDuel. You aren't punished for the walks! He has a 2.77 ERA in his past 11 starts and has had at least five strikeouts in each of his past seven starts. The Braves have been abysmal on offense, scoring one run so far in the series and they've historically struggled at PetCo.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Derek Norris (C, SD) - $3,200
Norris is starting to heat up again (.391 over last 23 AB) and he tends to perform better in the early bird outings (.277 day AVG).
Paul Goldschmidt (1B, ARI) - $4,400
Really? Goldschmidt is only $4,400? For a guy that is hitting .382 vs LHP along with a 1.150 OPS? I'll take my chances and fit him into my budget.
Anthony Rizzo (1B, CHC) - $4,200
Rizzo has been too hot to ignore for FanDuel purposes. Seven HR in his past 16 G and he's hitting .342 vs LHP. Sign me up
Enrique Hernandez (2B, LAD) - $2,400
Maybe people just don't realize this is Kike Hernandez? He's been batting 2nd lately and is hitting .400 over the past week. He's also 2-for-3 vs Jesse Chavez if that sways your vote. Great low-price option.
Alex Rodriguez (3B, NYY) - $3,600
A-Rod just keeps silencing the haters. Another HR last night (the Grand Salami) and he's got an excellent track record vs Ervin Santana (7-for-14, 2 HR).
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Mike Trout (OF, LAA) - $4,600
Here's another one that befuddles me. Mike Trout at $4,600!? And Jeff Samardzija has been scuffling? Trout is 3-for-9 lifetime vs the Shark. I'll take Trout and save the $1.1K it would take to snag Harper in Coors.
Starling Marte (OF, PIT) - $3,000
Marte is a streaky player, so he will either exceed expectations or crash and burn. He did smack a HR last night and he owns a .887 OPS vs LHP (.762 vs RHP). I'll take my chances at this low price.
Michael Taylor (OF, WAS) - $2,700
Because it's always nice to get some Coors action at a low price. Always a sneaky option for HR/SB help.
