Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Sunday, July 5th. My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel.

We were off last weekend as I was out taking in some Cape League baseball…two words, Bobby Dalbec. Back this week feeling fresh and ready to go on a hot streak.

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel
Mike Montgomery (SP, KC) - $7,600
Montgomery has a 1.62 ERA in six starts this season. His performance in those six starts has him as the #2 points per game pitcher on today's slate. He's also in a favorable matchup and ball park in Oakland. He's the only starter I'm considering today.
DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel
Adrian Beltre (3B, TEX) - $2,600
As I said yesterday, players coming off the DL are very undervalued in FanDuel leagues. Beltre is no different. Put the future HOF'er on your team and reap the rewards.
Jonathan Lucroy (C, MIL) - $3,300
Lucroy is back and he has good history against today's opposing starter Mike Leake. In 27 career at-bats Lucroy is hitting .444 with a long ball.
DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel
Mike Trout (OF, LAA) - $5,000
One of the surest things in baseball. Doesn't hurt that he has a .364 average with 2 career homers against opposing pitcher Colby Lewis.
Jose Bautista (OF, TOR) - $4,800
Bautista has good numbers against opposing pitcher Justin Verlander and this isn't the same Verlander from years past. He's my best bet for a homer today.
FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day
Kole Calhoun (OF, LAA) - $2,500
Calhoun has been heating up and 8 hits in 16 career at-bats against Colby Lewis isn't bad.
