We have another full slate of games on this Wednesday, July 29th with six early games, which means tons of tourney and cash games to join. If you play an all day I highly recommend selecting players who are certain to play the night caps to avoid zeros. There's plenty of aces early with the top gun (Kershaw) standing alone in the night session. Let's dig in.

Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking
Baltimore Orioles LHB versus Mike Foltynewicz
Foltynewicz was called up yesterday to take Manny Banuelos spot in the rotation after elbow inflammation sent him to the DL. He showed flashes of potential in his earlier stint in the rotation but is still too inconsistent, racking up a 5.27 ERA over 52 innings. Even worse was his .345/.397/.568 line vs LHB with a .413 wOBA. I'm grabbing a few lefties in this game, including Chris Davis ($3,700), Travis Snider ($2,200), and Matt Wieters ($2,500).
Chicago White Sox versus Rick Porcello
Multiple White Sox have been on fire in July, and I don't think Rick Porcello is enough to slow them down. Porcello has actually pitched well recently, but look at these numbers.
Sign me up. I'll take a share of Melky Cabrera ($3,600), Avisail Garcia ($2,300), Tyler Saladino ($3,000) and Jose Abreu ($3,400).
Honorable Mention: New York Yankees LHB vs Colby Lewis
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel Cash Games
Clayton Kershaw (SP, LAD) vs Oakland A's – $13,300
This is an insanely high price, but he is worth it. Kershaw is working on a 26-inning scoreless streak with a 35/0 K/BB ratio. Read that again. The advantage here is others may be afraid to spend the dough. Make some room in weaker spots (C, SS, OF) and grab Kershaw.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel Tournaments
I'm more willing to branch out in tourney formats. Here's some guys I like for early and late games.
Jon Lester (SP, CHC) vs Colorado Rockies - $9,000
The Rockies have been playing well in this series at Wrigley, but Lester has been too good lately. The Rockies are putrid vs LHP. Lester has put up doughnuts in three of his last five starts (1.53 ERA in that span), while the Rockies have a .350 SLG vs lefties (27th out of 30). And that was with Tulo. I like the Cubs to take the get-away game.
Tyson Ross (SP, SD) at New York Mets – $8,500
The Padres are falling apart, and trade rumors are circling, so Tyson Ross does have some risk to starting him. That said I don't think Ross gets moved during the game, and since this is a night game you should have time to hear any breaking news.
Ross still has walk issues, but FanDuel doesn't dock you for those so who cares. All that matters is his 9.45 K/9 rate over his past six starts and a good chance to win against a struggling Bartolo Colon.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Kyle Schwarber (C, CHC) – $3,200
The Schwarber mania has settled down, so ownership shouldn't be too high where using Schwarber would hurt you. He is mashing vs RHP (.415/.467/.732), and Eddie Butler hasn't impressed since rejoining the Rockies rotation.
Freddie Freeman (1B, ATL) – $3,400
Chris Tillman has surprisingly put together a strong run (1.38 ERA last five GS), but Freeman has come back strong in his return to the lineup and has a .908 OPS vs RHP. Tillman has historically struggled in the first inning, giving Freddie a chance to celebrate a HR with a Bro-Hug.
Jason Kipnis (2B, CLE) – $3,700
Taking Indians is certainly a gamble considering they're scoring 1.7 runs per game in their six game losing streak, but Kipnis has been one of the few bright spots. He owns Jeremy Guthrie (11-for-25, 2 HR, 9 RBI) and is hitting .352 in day games.
Mike Moustakas (3B, KC) – $2,600
Unlike most hitters Moose loves seeing Corey Kluber on the scorecard. He's certainly fallen off after his hot start, but he's 15-for-31 (.484) lifetime vs Kluber and comes at a great price.
Tim Beckham (SS, LAA) – $2,300
The former first overall pick has been on fire since the All-Star break, batting .346 in ten games including a clutch three-run triple last night to blow the game out. He's the best option at this price, and he fits our theme of paying for pitching and going cheap at SS.
EDIT: Tim Beckham is not playing today. Might as well stick with this game and take Asdrubal Cabrera ($2,600). .302 lifetime vs Verlander in 43 AB.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Michael Brantley (OF, CLE) – $3,600
When I mentioned other Indians bright spots this is it. Brantley has hit .350 since the All-Star break and is 10-for-32 lifetime vs Jeremy Guthrie. Safe to say I like the Indians to salvage a game in this series today.
Gerardo Parra (OF, MIL) – $3,400
Parra is hitting .432 since the All-Star break and was a monster last night (3-4, 3 R, 2B, 3B) in extending his hitting streak to 11 games. He's 3-for-9 lifetime vs Jake Peavy and is a solid mid-range buy.
Adam Jones (OF, BAL) – $2,900
This price seems way too low, and if this is a sucker pick call me a square. Jones has three two-hit games going and faces a rookie in his first start in over a month. I'll add him to my Baltimore LHP stack at this price.
Chris Coghlan (OF, CHC) – $2,900
Coghlan likely earned a start this afternoon after his pinch-hit HR last night, and if so he's a solid buy. All 11 HR have been vs RHP, and he owns a .804 OPS vs Rights (.417 vs LHP).
