Monday night didn't provide a whole lot of fireworks, so here's hoping for some offense Tuesday, July 28th. It's a full slate with the action starting at 7:05 eastern, and with ample arms to chose from, there's much to discuss.

Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking
Blue Jays RHB versus Adam Morgan
The Blue Jays right-handed bats against any average southpaw is nearly always a must-play. The addition of Troy Tulowitzki is going to make that statement even truer. Even against an above-average lefty you could make a case for stackin' Jays. Tonight, against a rookie and in Rogers Centre, it's a no-brainer. Morgan is allowing a .388 wOBA and .556 slugging percentage to righties this season and he doesn't miss a whole lot of bats. The only downside here is that these picks are likely to be very popular.
Phillies RHB versus Felix Doubront
I know it may actually look silly on paper to see the Phillies suggested as a solid stacking option, but they get a great park bump, face a pitcher in Doubront who allows a .359 wOBA and .459 slugging percentage to righties. I've got a feeling they'll be overlooked.
Giants LHB versus Wily Peralta
I've got a suspicion the Giants bats are being rostered less often thanks to lineup uncertainty when FanDuel lineup's lock (Bochy's late submissions don't help) and the fact they play in a non-homer friendly park. Waiting to see if Giants hitters are in the starting lineup as lineup lock time nears can be frustrating, but if my suspicion is true, it also creates a lot of value. You can roster quality hitters that not many of your opponents will have. Oh, and they face Wily Peralta tonight. That in itself is a pretty damn good reason to roster the lefties in San Francisco's lineup. Lefties are hitting .299 with a .380 wOBA and .547 slugging percentage this season.
Honorable Mentions: Yankees RHB, Rangers RHB
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
As is the opposite of what our options were Monday night, tonight we have a wealth of quality pitching options to choose from. David Price and Jose Fernandez are both strong routes to take, but personally I'm going to stay away from the chalky picks and go with a few mid-salary range guys.
That being said, these are my favorite arms tonight, in order of preference.
- Jordan Zimmermann (SP, WAS) - $8,600
- Jake Odorizzi (SP, TB) - $8,300
- Noah Syndegaard (SP, NYM) - $8,800
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Nick Hundley (C, COL) - $2,900
He may not even be the most rostered catcher playing in Wrigley tonight, but he definitely has a favorable matchup to exploit and a price tag under 3k makes it even sweeter.
Freddie Freeman (1B, ATL) - $3,600
He may be fresh off his return from the DL, but the numbers are too hard to ignore. In his career, he has slugged .800 off of Ubaldo, and he's a lifetime .503 slugger against right-handed pitching. Freeman also gets a major park boost tonight in Baltimore.
Eric Hosmer (1B, KC) - $2,900
I don't like him quite as much as Freeman in terms of potential, but I love the price point and how he's under the radar hot right now, slugging .705 over the past two weeks. The fact that he's facing Bauer may scare some folks off, making him a sleeper pick so to speak.
Devon Travis (2B, TOR) - $2,900
Right-handed hitters should have a field day with Adam Morgan in Toronto, so here's to hoping Travis finds himself at the top of the order tonight so he can get things going early. Travis has a .554 career slugging percentage against RHP, and he's batting .313 over the past week.
Cesar Hernandez (2B, PHI) - $3,100
Hernandez isn't a guy I'd roster hoping for power output, but it's not out of the question with Felix Doubront tossing in Rogers Centre. Hernandez is, however, a guy I'd roster to make some noise at the top of the order and possibly steal a few bags. Tonight we could see a little of each, as Cesar is hitting .315 for his career against southpaws.
Josh Donaldson (3B, TOR) - $4,700
Normally I hate breaking the bank. Tonight I make an exception for @BringerOfRain, as I think he's the clear cut top play at the hot corner.
Alexei Ramirez (SS, CHW) - $2,800
The options at shortstop are pretty "meh" tonight. Rather than overpay for a deep threat I'll go ol' Alexei based on the fact he's on somewhat of a hot streak and faces Wade Miley in Fenway.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Carlos Gonzalez: Fantasy Baseball Player News & Analysis" href="http://www.rotoballer.com/fantasy-baseball-mlb-player-news/Carlos+Gonzalez" target="blank">Carlos Gonzalez (OF, COL) – $3,000
CarGo is super hot. Like, 10 home runs in the last 15 days hot. He's facing off against Dallas Beeler (poor Dallas) and is incredibly cheap, all things considered.
Charlie Blackmon (OF, COL) - $4,000
Left-handed hitters should have all sorts of fun against Dallas Beeler tonight in Wrigley. The Rockies lineup just got a little lighter with the loss of Tulo, so it'll be interesting to see where Blackmon fits into the lineup tonight.
Michael Brantley (OF, CLE) - $3,600
Chris Young has been pretty good this season, but there's still some value in rostering lefties against him. Brantley fits the bill well. He's tucked right into the middle of the order and happens to be slugging .649 over the past two weeks.
Delino DeShields (OF, TEX) - $3,400
DeShields is finding his groove at the top of that Rangers order, hitting .308 over the past 14 days. He's a .417 lifetime slugger against lefties, and if the temperature is high again in Arlington (and why wouldn't it be in late July?), the ball is going to be popping.
