Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Sunday, July 26th. My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel. Additionally, since the weekends generally have many afternoon and night games, I’ll make an effort to distribute my picks to cover all the timeslots going forward so that if you are playing an afternoon/night only league this article will still be useful.
Daily fantasy baseball leagues (DFS) are becoming the thing to do, and here at RotoBaller we are excited to help our users build their bankrolls. I’ll be covering FanDuel lineup picks, sleepers and general advice every Saturday and Sunday. I’ll also be putting my money where my mouth is by entering my final lineup (at the bottom of the article) into one of FanDuel’s many daily fantasy contests, so that RotoBaller users can compete against me.
Editor’s Note: If you play on FanDuel, you should also check out RotoBaller’s DFS Partner DraftKings – they’re hosting a one-day Fantasy Baseball league today. It’s FREE to enter and pays out $8,000 in cash prizes!

Last Saturday’s Review
Entry: $1
Winnings: $2.50
Saturdays For the Season: +$4.63
Pick Highlights: Archer did his job on the mound for the most part, giving up just 2 earned over 7 innings while striking out 6. Most days, that is good enough for a win and an additional 4 points on top of his solid 11 point day. Other than that, the Orioles carried my offense with sleeper of the week J.J. Hardy and Adam Jones putting up 6.5 and 8.5 respectively.
Relationship Status: “Back on the right track”
DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel
Michael Wacha (SP, STL) - $8,500
Wacha goes up against the offensive struggling Braves today in a very good matchup. He has a whopping 11 wins already this season and I'm banking on another one today.
Nathan Eovaldi (SP, NYY) - $7,000
Eovaldi's riding fastball should play well in a park like Target Field in Minnesota. Heck, almost everything plays well in that park, but Eovaldi is also riding one of the best stretches of his career with a sub-3 ERA in his last 6 starts.
DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel
Matt Wieters (C, BAL) - $2,400
This price is an absolute steal for Wieters. He faces off with Matt Moore today who is coming back from an injury and who Wieters has crushed in the past going 8 for 14 over their career matchups with a couple of home runs.
Joey Votto (1B, CIN) - $4,600
I'll admit, this is a steep price tag for Votto. However, he has the dream matchup today playing in Colorado against Kyle Kendrick. Votto traditionally hits Kendrick well sporting a .333/.400/.611 triple slash in 18 career at-bats. In 19 career games at Coors, Votto is mashing to the tune of a .366/.458/.563 slash line.
Ben Zobrist (2B, OAK) - $2,900
Of the 19 second basemen that are more expensive than Ben Zobrist, only 4 outscore him on a daily basis. That's even after a slow start from Zobrist. The best value on the board today.
DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel
Adam Jones (OF, BAL) – $3,000
Jones was badly slumping before a two-homer game off of Max Scherzer right before the All-Star break. He worked last Sunday and at this price you can't pass the All-Star up. I’m going to choose to believe that he’s broken through and is going to get back to his early-season MVP form.
Marlon Byrd (OF, CIN) - $3,200
Relatively cheap power playing in Coors Field...sign me up.
FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day
Joc Pederson (OF, LAD) - $2,800
A little bit of a cop out to put the guy with 20+ homers and potential rookie of the year in the sleeper of the day spot, but the price is low enough that it's justifiable. It's a tough matchup today against Jacob DeGrom, but if anyone is going to turn that fastball around I'd bet on Pederson.
My DFS Lineup on FanDuel
Today I’ll be playing in $15K MLB Sac Fly game today. Remember to check your lineups throughout the day. You never want to get a goose egg for a guy that didn’t play.
