Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Saturday, September 13th. My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel. Additionally, since the weekends generally have many afternoon and night games, I’ll make an effort to distribute my picks to cover all the time slots going forward so that if you are playing an afternoon/night only league this article will still be useful.
Daily fantasy baseball leagues (DFS) are becoming the thing to do, and here at RotoBaller we are excited to help our users build their bankrolls. I’ll be covering FanDuel lineup picks, sleepers and general advice every Saturday and Sunday. I’ll also be putting my money where my mouth is by entering my final lineup (at the bottom of the article) into one of FanDuel’s many daily fantasy contests, so that RotoBaller users can compete against me.

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel
Max Scherzer (SP, WAS) - $10,500
Washington had their spirit broken earlier in the week with multiple Mets comebacks, but that doesn't mean Scherzer can't step up here and give them one last breath of hope. He's in the spacious Miami ballpark today so expect a lot of strikeouts and fly balls that don't quite leave the yard.
Drew Smyly (SP, TAM) - $7,400
Great value here going up against Boston today. Smyly is on the mound at home with a great chance to pick up a win and 4 points for your DFS team.
DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel
Anthony Rizzo (1B, CHC) - $4,400
Is anyone going to talk about Rizzo as the legit MVP candidate that he is? I don't think he'll win it, but he at least has a case. The Cubs talk is generally centered around the youth movement, but let's remember that Rizzo is only 26 and has 29 homers and 88 RBI to his name this year.
Carlos Correa (SS, HOU) - $3,600
AL Rookie of the Year, perennial MVP candidate, best shortstop in baseball, leader of the free world. Only one of those isn't true.
DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel
Mike Trout (OF, LAA) - $4,100
He'll come out of this lull, so at this price you just don't pass him up.
Adam Jones (OF, BAL) - $3,000
See Trout, Mike. The same idea applies. I'm taking talent and hoping it pops in a one day sample size.
FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day
Josh Reddick (OF, OAK) - $2,400
Love getting a guy that is capable of a multi-HR game into my lineup at this price. All of the splits line up for Reddick today with him facing a right-handed pitcher in a very hitter friendly ballpark (Texas).
