The Sacramento Kings are one of the fastest teams in the NBA. They just scored almost 150 points against the Phoenix Suns. The Oklahoma City Thunder are going to run with them, so attack that game, especially Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.
In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 1/4/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Russell Westbrook (vs SAC, $10,700)
There are a ton of solid guard options on the board tonight, but Russell Westbrook is definitely the best of the group. He looked bad in his last game against the Charlotte Hornets, but he should be able to turn things around tonight against the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, and Westbrook is going to show that. In his last four games, he has two games over 50 fantasy points and one game over 65 fantasy points. Against the Phoenix Suns, he almost scored 70 fantasy points in 34 minutes. The Sacramento Kings run at a pace similar to the Suns, and if Westbrook eclipsed 70 fantasy points tonight, it would not really be all that surprising. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Patty Mills (at MIL, $3,800)
Patty Mills generally plays around 20 minutes per game and scores a little over 15 fantasy points per game. Tonight, Tony Parker is taking the night off due to a hip injury, so Mills is going to start for the San Antonio Spurs. His minutes and his fantasy production should both go up. His price tag is extremely low, and Mills is likely to hit value. There really isn't much to this play; Mills is cheap and he is going to see big minutes. That is simple enough. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Gordon Hayward (vs HOU, $7,500)
Gordon Hayward is playing better in Utah so far this season, so being at home will definitely help his case. He also gets a fantastic matchup against the Houston Rockets, who are one of the worst teams in the league against the small forward position. Hayward did not look great against the Memphis Grizzlies, scoring only 26 fantasy points in 42 minutes on the court, but he has been solid prior to that game. Against the Portland Trailblazers, he scored over 35 fantasy points, and he scored over 40 fantasy points against both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments, as he has upside, but he is rather consistent as well.
Trevor Booker (vs HOU, $4,700)
Trevor Booker is starting to see more minutes for the Utah Jazz. In his last game, which was against the Memphis Grizzlies, he played 35 minutes and posted 23.7 fantasy points. Three games ago, against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Booker played 35 minutes and posted 26.5 fantasy points. The Jazz are using him quite a bit, but he barely contributes on offense. Regardless, he is definitely cheap enough to hit value. I do not trust Booker in 50/50 contests, as he only played around 20 minutes in some games, but he is worth a look in most tournaments. There is just no reason to avoid a player under $5,000 that is going to play 30 plus minutes.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Hassan Whiteside (vs IND, $7,400)
Hassan Whiteside absolutely dominated the Dallas Mavericks. He posted over 45 fantasy points in only 32 minutes on the court. He generally sees 35 plus minutes, so over 50 fantasy points is not out of reach for Whiteside. He as Andre Drummond like potential, but he is not even close to Drummond's price tag. At only $7,400, Whiteside is basically a steal tonight. The Indiana Pacers are not one of the better defensive teams in the league, and Whiteside is going to take advantage of that. He does have the ability to 'flop,' like he did against the Memphis Grizzlies, when he only posted 26.7 fantasy points in 37 minutes. However, I'm willing to take a chance tonight on the Miami Heat big man. He is better utilized in tournaments, but he isn't the worst 50/50 option on the board either .
