We've got a lovely 15 game schedule this evening with every contest set to begin at 7:05 EDT or later. That's a DFS junkie's dream, seeing as we'll have every player at our disposal and you can spend more time constructing lineups and less worrying about ownership percentages. In terms of aces taking the bump tonight, we are pretty devoid of them. The silver lining to that is there will be no lack of lucrative stacking opportunities.
As for Vegas insights, there are a large number of games with over/under run totals above nine runs - Cardinals at Reds, Royals at Orioles, Blue Jays at Tigers, Astros at Rangers, Nationals at White Sox, and Marlins at Twins. Park factors. The hitters with the highest positive park factors for tonight are the Angels and Yankees left-handed batters, the Royals and Orioles left-handed batters, and the Cardinals and Reds right-handed hitters.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/7/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
As I mentioned above, there are quite a few stacking opportunities that look great on paper. Below are my top two and one other I like.
Washington Nationals Left-Handed Batters versus Matt Latos
The Nationals get a nice park upgrade this evening and take on the likes of Mat Latos. Latos has been fine this evening, but he particularly struggles with left-handed bats and the Nationals have quite a few LHB with pop. On the season, lefties have posted a .330 wOBA and .478 slugging percentage split. Latos has allowed .188 HR/9 to lefties this year and at home at US Cellular, that number balloons to 2.3 HR9.
Milwaukee Brewers Right-Handed Batters versus Sean Manaea
Sean Manaea may end up having a solid career but thus far in 2016, my best stacks have been against him. He's been incredibly home run prone and playing tonight in Milwaukee isn't likely to help his case. He particularly struggles with right-handed batters, allowing a .393 WOBA and .549 slugging percentage thus far. He normally pitches in pitcher friendly Oakland Coliseum but won't have that luxury tonight. His HR/9 allowed on the road - 6.75 - is astonishing.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Zack Greinke (SP, ARI) - $10,300
I think we're finally back to the point where we can trust Greinke - even in cash games. In three of his last four starts he's eclipsed 45 points, twice eclipsing 54. His WHIP for the season is now below one and his strikeouts are trickling back up to an average where we're accustomed to seeing Zack, and now stands at 8.44 K.9. Tonight he faces a Tampa Bay team that owns a respectable team .310 wOBA against right-handed pitching, but also happens to be striking out in nearly 27% of their at-bats versus righties. The opportunity for a 8+ strikeout game is there for the taking - and perhaps a win, too, as the Diamondbacks are -160 favorites tonight.
Kyle Hendricks (SP, CHC) - $8,300
Hendricks has looked brilliant in his last two starts and his salary has only risen $600 in that time span. In other words, his salary cost hasn't yet met his performance, and on a day like today where the elite pitching options are almost non-existent, he becomes even more of a commodity and a value. He has done an excellent job of keeping the ball in the park, as marked by his 0.74 HR/9, and his strikeout average per nine frames is over eight. The Phillies strike out in roughly 25% of their at-bats versus right-handed pitching, and while that's not a great number it isn't a poor one either. Hendricks get a boost in my ratings thanks to the fact he should get run support tonight and the chances for a win are strong.
Also Consider: Jacob DeGrom (SP, NYM) - $9,800
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Catcher (C)
Salvador Perez (C, KCR) - $2,600
What a steal of a price this is for Perez, considering he's most valuable when facing a right-handed pitcher and does so this evening. He's been in a bit of a slump, but facing a pitcher like Ubaldo Jimenez presents a great opportunity to break out of it. For the season, Perez owns a .351 wOBA and .215 ISO against righties.
Also Consider: Wellington Castillo (C, ARI) - $2,700
First Base (1B)
Chris Davis (1B, BAL) - $3,700
I'll be honest - I nearly always love the idea of Chris Davis at home in Camden Yards facing a right-hander. Tonight he sees Yordano Ventura, and while he can bring the heat, that actually entices me to roster Davis even more as he has little trouble handling the fastball. For the season, his splits are incredibly impressive - .427 wOBA and a .351 ISO.
Also Consider: Eric Hosmer (1B, KCR) - $3,500
Second Base (2B)
Daniel Murphy (2B, WAS) - $4,200
Second base is a bit of wasteland tonight in my opinion, so I'm going to spend up here on Murphy. He has very strong splits, gets an offensive park upgrade and faces a pitcher in Mat Latos that struggles to retire left-handed batters. Thus far in 2016, Murphy's isolated power numbers against right-handed pitchers stands at .238.
Also Consider: Chase Utley (2B, LAD) - $3,000
Shortstop (SS)
Jonathan Villar (SS, MIL) - $3,800
Despite his recent strong performances, I think that Villar could fly a little under the radar tonight thanks to the likes of Corey Seager and Manny Machado. Villar has an excellent matchup, strong splits, plays in an offense-friendly park and matches up very well against Sean Manaea who has been giving up bombs to hitters left and right.
Also Consider: Corey Seager (SS, LAD) - $4,100
Third Base (3B)
Pedro Alvarez (3B, BAL) - $2,700
Pedro is quite the steal at this price considering he has so many positive factors in his favor tonight. The lefty has very strong power splits, hits in a good park for left-handed hitters and he's exceeded his price implied value in three of the last four nights. His .236 isolated power plays very nicely tonight, especially if you're looking to save some cash in tournament formats on a guy with home run upside.
Also Consider: Matt Carpenter (3B, STL) - $3,900
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
There are quite a few cheap options tonight in the outfield with great power upside. Consider the guys below as tournament types.
Hyun-Soo Kim (OF, BAL) - $2,700
Since his entrance to the big stage, Kim has handled right-handed pitching incredibly well, posting a .421 wOBA split. At this price, and in a lineup where he could see plenty of RBI opportunities, he's too much of a bargain to pass up.
Marcell Ozuna (OF, MIA) - $3,300
Ozuna has been feasting on left-handed pitching this season and he gets a slight park upgrade tonight as the game is being held in Minnesota. His splits - .437 wOBA and .277 ISO - are very impressive and some of the best on this slate.
Giancarlo Stanton (OF, MIA) - $2,900
He isn't cash game friendly yet, but a guy of Stanton's caliber at this low price is something really hard to pass up. His splits are incredibly strong and he gets a slight park upgrade as well. I'll easily find ways to have Stanton in the lineup with my stacks in tournament formats.
Also Consider: Michael Saunders (OF, TOR) - $3,200
