FAAB Auction Waiver Wire Bidding - Week 13 Pickups

FAAB auction dollar bidding prices for Week 13 fantasy football waiver wire targets. Many leagues in 2017 use auction FAAB bidding for waivers, this is a guide.

Welcome to Week 13 everyone. If you haven't already been eliminated from your league's postseason tournament, you're in luck! While the waiver wire has gotten a bit stale in recent weeks, there may still be some bodies that can help you win a fantasy championship in a few weeks.

We reminded you several weeks ago to consider stashing Browns receiver Josh Gordon. He'll be eligible to return this weekend against the Chargers. Even though he hasn't played in three years, he has elite talent and can help teams ticketed for the playoffs. Let’s look at who else is worth a bid going into Week 13.

Each FAAB auction price recommendation will be based on a $100 FAAB budget, and all players listed have less than 50 percent ownership on Yahoo.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Running Backs

Jacquizz Rodgers (TB) - $10-15 (7% owned)

Rodgers was thrust into action due to Doug Martin's concussion in Week 12, and he garnered a team-high eight carries for 31 yards while also catching the ball once for a gain of six. Unfortunately for him, Peyton Barber vultured two touchdowns near the goal line on only five carries.

Martin may be a long shot to play in Week 13 against the Packers, which would put Rodgers into lead-back duties. Barber is simply a change-of-pace back. When Martin was suspended to start the year, Rodgers saw two games with double-digit carries and had RB2 value. That would once again be the case if Martin misses any time.

T.J. Yeldon (JAC) - $5-10 (15% owned)

Leonard Fournette remains the workhorse in Jacksonville's backfield, but a nagging ankle injury may be causing him to hit the proverbial rookie wall. That could leave more work than usual for Yeldon, who despite receiving only three carries in Week 12, had five catches for a team-high 42 yards in the loss to Arizona.

Yeldon's role is clear: be the main dumpoff option in the flat for the inconsistent Blake Bortles on passing downs. While it may not seem like much, that role carries value in deep PPR leagues as a potential flex option. In the Week 10 overtime win over the Chargers, Yeldon had a season-high six receptions for 39 yards.

Mike Davis (SEA) - $5-10 (2% owned)

You may think we're crazy for recommending anyone from Seattle's beleaguered backfield, but here goes... Davis looked like the team's best back in Week 11 before he injured his groin, running six times for 18 yards (3.0 yards per carry) while catching two passes for an additional 41 yards. He looked quick and explosive, and he was set to be the most productive rusher before going down.

After sitting out in Week 12, Davis has a chance to return against the Eagles in a Sunday night showdown. Predictably, Eddie Lacy flopped again in a cake matchup with San Fran -- 17 carries for 46 yards -- leaving the door open for Davis to produce in his return. Thomas Rawls was active but didn't receive a single touch, so that shows you what Seattle thinks of him.

Also Consider: Wayne Gallman (NYG) - $3-5, Byron Marshall (WAS) - $3-5

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Wide Receivers

Corey Coleman (CLE) - $15-20 (40% owned)

Coleman may lose a little luster with Josh Gordon returning in Week 13, but we can't ignore the fact that he's seen 18 targets in the last two weeks, catching nine of those for 144 yards. Quarterback DeShone Kizer is a work in progress, but Coleman's upside is as plain as day, and he could remain the team's No. 1 receiver while Gordon shakes off the rust.

Jermaine Kearse (NYJ) - $10-15 (39% owned)

Robby Anderson may have stole all the headlines in Week 12 by catching six passes for a team-high 146 yards and two touchdowns, but Kearse flew under the radar with a team-high seven grabs for 105 yards and a score of his own against the Panthers.

Anderson is clearly quarterback Josh McCown's preferred target through the air, but Kearse has solidified his role as a close second, as evidenced by his 11 catches and 19 targets the last two games. While Sunday's 11 targets were a season high, Kearse has seen at least four looks in every game since Sept. 24.

He'll also be facing an excellent matchup with the Chiefs in Week 13. Kansas City is allowing the second most fantasy points per game (39.8) to opposing wideouts this year.

Tyrell Williams (LAC) - $10-15 (36% owned)

2017 certainly hasn't been as good to Williams as the 2016 season, but he may be on the rise in a Chargers offense that is trending upwards. Williams hauled in two of his three Thanksgiving targets for 58 yards and his second touchdown of the year. The 25-year-old hasn't caught more than three passes since Oct. 1, but he may see more consistent production with rookie Mike Williams (knee) week-to-week.

Dede Westbrook (JAC) - $10-15 (25% owned)

Another player we warned owners to stash weeks ago, Westbrook has seen 16 targets in his first two NFL games, catching nine of those for 76 scoreless yards. While his production may have been helped by the absence of Allen Hurns (ankle) and the fact Marqise Lee was blanketed by Cardinals shutdown cornerback Patrick Peterson in Week 12, it's clear that the Jags are excited for what the rookie Westbrook can bring to their passing game.

He should only be more involved down the stretch, but Hurns' eventual return and Jacksonville's run-first approach somewhat limits his fantasy upside as more of a WR4/5 in deeper leagues. For what it's worth, the Jaguars face a Colts secondary in Week 13 that is hemorrhaging fantasy points to receivers this year.

Also Consider: Dontrelle Inman (CHI) - $5-10, Marquise Goodwin (SF) - $3-5, Josh Reynolds (LAR) - $3-5, Seth Roberts (OAK) - $3-5, Albert Wilson (KC) - $3-5

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Tight Ends

Tyler Kroft (CIN) - $5-10 (47% owned)

Kroft isn't setting the world on fire with his yardage totals -- he's gone over 50 yards twice this year and has a season high of six catches back on Oct. 1 -- but he's become the secondary red-zone target behind A.J. Green for quarterback Andy Dalton.

The third-year tight end has only five catches in the last two games, but two of those have gone for scores, and he has found paydirt a total of five times in 2017. You could do much worse than Kroft as a low-end TE1, although he's heading into a daunting matchup with Pittsburgh next Monday night.

Julius Thomas (MIA) - $5-10 (27% owned)

Thomas hasn't been fantasy relevant since 2013 with the Broncos, but he just may be creeping back into the streaming radar. In the last four games, he's had at least four targets and has scored two touchdowns. While it isn't much, it's a step up for Thomas. He'll be on the streaming radar in Week 13 in a revenge game against the Broncos, whose defense allows the second most fantasy points per game (17.5) to opposing tight ends.

Ricky Seals-Jones (ARI) - $5-10 (2% owned)

When the rookie tight end caught three passes for 54 yards and the first two touchdowns of his career in Week 11, it was chalked up to a fluke. It may be more of a trend now after he improved on that line with four receptions on six targets for 72 yards and another score in a Week 12 victory.

Seals-Jones is certainly unlikely to keep up this pace, but with Blaine Gabbert an improvement under center over Drew Stanton and showing chemistry with the rookie, it may be time to take him seriously. He's more of a TE2 with upside for more, though.

Also Consider: Austin Traylor (DEN) - $3-5

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Quarterbacks

Jameis Winston (TB) - $10-15 (41% owned)

There's a good chance Winston's previous owner dropped him since he hasn't played since Nov. 5 due to right shoulder issues. He's on track to resume throwing in practice this week, which could put him in line to return in Week 13 in a nice matchup with the Packers.

While Winston wasn't exciting his owners all that much to begin with in 2017, he represents a big upgrade over Ryan Fitzpatrick, and he can at least serve as a high-end QB2 if he returns to the gridiron this weekend. The Bucs may be forced to throw more with Doug Martin (concussion) questionable. Before being sidelined, Winston had hit the 300-yard mark in four of his eight starts.

Josh McCown (NYJ) - $5-10 (31% owned)

McCown is never a sexy fantasy option, but he's been quietly racking up decent performances throughout the year. In a tough matchup against Carolina in Week 12, the veteran gunslinger went 19-for-36 for 307 yards and three touchdowns. On the season, he's thrown 17 touchdowns to eight interceptions, and he's also run three in.

Gang Green's backfield is unreliable, but McCown has found comfort in targeting Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse through the air, and you just can't argue with his production as a QB2. He should produce fine numbers again this weekend while facing the Chiefs, who allow 18.0 fantasy points per game to the position.

Brett Hundley (GB) - $5-10 (7% owned)

We've seen the rookie's floor when he turned the ball over three times and failed to generate any scoring against Baltimore in Week 11. Hundley showed us his upside in a near road upset over Pittsburgh on Sunday night by going 17-for-26 for 245 yards and three touchdowns.

He certainly has the playmakers around him to get it done, and Hundley has enough pure athleticism to make plays against a weak Tampa Bay defense in Week 13. The Bucs allow the 10th most fantasy points to quarterbacks per game at 18.0. Fantasy owners can be optimistic that Hundley will continue improving.

Trevor Siemian (DEN) - $5-10 (6% owned)

Siemian will get his second shot at the starting gig in Denver now that Paxton Lynch is out two to four weeks with a high ankle sprain. Round and round the quarterback carousel turns for the Broncos in what has turned out to be a lost season.

For what it's worth, Siemian came in for the injured Lynch and led two scoring drives against a weak Raiders secondary in a comeback attempt that fell just short. Of the three QBs Denver has had to use in 2017, Siemian may be the most balanced and consistent, although he did look downright putrid for a stretch midseason that got him benched.

There's a good chance Lynch is shut down through the rest of the year with five games remaining, so it could be Siemian's job from here on out before the Broncos re-evaluate the position in the offseason. He'll be on the low-end QB2 streaming radar against a Dolphins D that allowed a franchise-record offensive output to the Panthers on Monday night two weeks ago.

Also Consider: Jimmy Garoppolo (SF) - $3-5

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Defense

Los Angeles Chargers - $5-10 (34% owned)

We urged readers to pick up the Bolts defense last week before they feasted on the Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott-less offense on Thanksgiving. Not many listened. In fact, their ownership in Yahoo leagues went down one percent.

The Chargers now rank fifth in overall scoring for fantasy defenses on the year. They are also tied for fourth in sacks (32.0) and tied for third in the NFL in interceptions (14). What more do you want? The pass-rushing combination up front of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram is perhaps the best in the league, and they complement that with a strong secondary led by shutdown corner Casey Hayward.

Oh, and the Chargers get to face the 0-11 Browns at home in Week 13. It doesn't get much better, folks.

Also Consider: Tennessee Titans - $1-3, Washington Redskins - $1-3
