BALLER MOVE: Start in 20+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB5
ANALYSIS: Fantasy managers can't trust any Cowboys running back at this point of the season, especially Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott has played only 25 combined snaps over the past two weeks. In those games, he ran eight times for 25 yards while catching just two passes for 11 yards. As a result, he can't be started in most leagues in Week 5.
Elliott has definitely taken a backseat on offense over the past two weeks, playing less than 20% of the team's offensive snaps in both games. Now, he has a matchup against a tough Steelers defense this weekend. Pittsburgh has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.
Dak Prescott on Ezekiel Elliott accepting his diminished role: “It’s damn sure frustrating, I'm sure. I know it is, but he's a team-first guy, so he's not showing that. He's coming in, doing everything that he needs to do for this team…And that's what a pro does.’’ pic.twitter.com/2tpGJHBkJC

So, you aren't starting Elliott unless you absolutely have to in deeper formats. It's best to sit the veteran this week because he appears to be the clear backup to Rico Dowdle heading into Week 5.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically.
