In 2022, the NFC East was a competitive bloodbath, even though the Eagles managed to run away with the division crown. That was far from the case in 2023, as the Giants and Commanders fell off a cliff and the Cowboys and Eagles lost in the first round.
Now, the division is looking to get back to its glory days. It's easy to forget, but there was a point in the 2022 season where it seemed likely that all four teams would make the playoffs. With new rosters and new faces, these teams naturally have to deal with new strengths and weaknesses.
What is every NFC East team's greatest strength/weakness in 2024? Let's find out.

Dallas Cowboys
Strength: QB1
Weakness: Running Backs
Say what you want about Dak Prescott, but he is a bonafide NFL superstar and had a great season in 2023. Yes, he chokes in the playoffs, but he will get results in the regular season regardless of the pieces around him which includes a new offensive line.
Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy on expectations for Ezekiel Elliott: "I think he'll definitely play at the level that he's played, I know, in my time here. I anticipate that."https://t.co/NC48voZnPV pic.twitter.com/chgBcdrUVw

His backfield partner will be a familiar face, as Ezekiel Elliott is back in town. This isn't 2016 anymore. Elliott as the RB1 scares no one and Rico Dowdle has yet to prove himself at the NFL level.
New York Giants:
Strength: Linebackers
Weakness: Quarterbacks
The Giants have significantly improved their linebacker corps in the past few seasons, turning it into one of the better LB units in the NFL. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean much when their starting quarterback is Daniel Jones. Drew Lock and Tommy Devito are capable of looking solid for some periods, but they don't inspire much confidence.
Philadelphia Eagles:
Strength: Wide Receivers
Weakness: Linebackers
Despite their late-season collapse in 2023, the Eagles still have the best roster in the division and have made some great moves this offseason to create a new and motivated squad. The offensive line is still great, but questions remain due to Jason Kelce's retirement.
Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith

I picked the WRs as their biggest strength due to the presence of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Their LBs are questionable, especially their new addition Devin White, who was terrible at the end of his time in Tampa Bay.
Washington Commanders:
Strength: Running Backs
Weakness: Offensive Line
The Commanders need a few years before they can get back to winning games consistently again, and their current roster has many weaknesses, including a new (but not much improved) offensive line that might cause some serious trouble for Jayden Daniels. The addition of Austin Ekeler to go with the returning Brian Robinson Jr. has turned the RB room into one of the few bright spots of this team.
