Welcome back RotoBallers to my League of Legends DFS column! We will continue to extend our analysis for LoL DFS across different leagues and sites, bringing you the insight you need to succeed. Thanks once again for the outpouring of support from the DFS and eSports communities. I can't thank you enough for the kind words on Twitter, and your support has afforded me the opportunity to write about something I love every day.
Well, we did it, boys, we got our double tiebreakers, and that means that EU Masters action continues on Sunday. Our tiebreakers today are best of one format, just like the rest of the tournament has been to this point. Fanduel currently only has single-game contests posted for the first game. Spring season is coming to a close, but there are still some massive contests posted in the FanDuel, and DraftKings lobbies, including the 15-dollar Tie Break special that, pays 20k to first place!
Today, I'll be providing my League of Legends advice, analysis, and lineup picks for the EU Masters slates on DraftKings and FanDuel that lock at 12:00 PM ET on Sunday, May 3rd, 2020. Make sure you are following me on Twitter @Mr_Malmanger as I often post starting lineups when I see them and other useful info for the slate.

Group B Tiebreaker 1
12:00 PM: LDLC vs.Vodaphone Giants
Group B is up first on tiebreaker Sunday, and the winner of this moves on to face Rogue later in the afternoon to determine the top two of the group. I looked back at my pre-tournament rankings and stats then compared them with what the teams have shown us over the six games we've seen so far.
Both sets of data confirm what I expected to see that Giant's should be the better team and win on Sunday. The best path to victory for LDLC is to try to jump on top of GIA and never let up.
Tynx is going to be the key to the matchup. He is a carry type of jungler, and he's 8-2 on the year on Lee Sin. Undefeated in his home region, and the EU masters. Lamabear will be tasked with shutting him down, or at least holding him even until the other member of the Giants can assert their dominance in the match.
I think that he will, he plays Sedjuani, Trundle, and Jarvan, three champs that I think can stand up to Lee. Lama also has very good vision control, and his team does as well they have the skills and the strategy needed to take this game into deep waters where their carries can outplay those of LDLC.
I think this match will have a higher pace to it as LDLC tries to push with Tynx to try to gain an early advantage. I would target this side heavily and take a few GPP shots with LDLC.
Lamabear - JNG ($7,200 DraftKings, $14,000 FanDuel)
The jungler leads the team in kill participation and is third in kill share. He's averaging 33 DKP in the tournament, and that's far and away first in the jungle pool on Sunday. He's also the most assists per game of any jungler in the tournament a robust 11.5 I spoke above about his assignment, and I know he's up to the task.
Attila - ADC ($7,800 DraftKings, $15,500 FanDuel)
If I had to pick only one of the carries for Giants on Sunday, it would have to be the ADC Atilla. He has formerly played in the LEC, even reaching with world's stage with his Vitality squad. He's been smurfing this whole tournament, and will again on Sunday. He is second on Giants in kill participation percentage, and first in kill share barely edging out Pretty.

Group C Tiebreaker 1
12:45 PM: Movistar Riders vs. Schalke Null Fear
Movistar and Schalke face off for the right to play K1CK to place in the top two in group C. Before the tournament started if you would have told me that Germany, France, and Spain would have to have a playoff, while Poland auto qualified I would have said you're nuts.
This game is the slower, and closer of the two matches. I don't think it should be, but with some turmoil and roster swaps, I believe S04 has played down this tournament. Schalke has also had some sketchy drafts which have stunted their players. Both teams like to extend the laning phase a bit longer playing a safer, and slower style.
This should favor S04 on Sunday as they have the talent advantage. If we see them drafts for standard league of legends and then follow their win conditions, I believe they win this fairly easily. In case they don't, I'll gladly hedge and play some MSR in GPPs.
Elyoya - MSR - JNG ($6,200 DraftKings)
The jungler for Movistar has played some HARD carry champions in the Graves, Karthus, and Quiyana. He is also very flexible, having played 18 different champs this spring, and I have some concern that S04 will continue to have problems adjusting to their junglers. Elyoya will be a mainstay of any lineups with MSR in them on Sunday.
Sleeping- S04 - TOP ($6,400 DraftKings)
If I want to stack up the favorites, I have to save money somewhere, and I like Sleeping for that value. He leads all top-laners on this slate in kill share the tank meta is in full effect during the tournament, and I expect to see him play either Ornn or Maokai. Sleeping can also play Aatrox, Gangplank, and Renekton, which would give him some more upside on Sunday. Top-laners can be very hit or miss so this is often a spot I like to pay down at on Draftkings.
Summary
- We're all pretty familiar with two-game slates; nothing is too wild even though I like both favorites to advance.
- The first match is the one I would target more heavily as it should be the higher paced of the two. I don't think that game stacks will be in play on Sunday, but if you must, this is the one to try.
- The second set of games won't be on any of the fantasy sites but might give us some more clues about the strength of these teams heading into the knockout stage.
- Speaking of which, the EU masters will be back on Wednesday with two best of three series to begin the knockout bracket to the finals. Don't worry, I'll be there to give you my insight, analysis, and picks.
