The ESPN College Pick Em game goes into Week 12 this weekend! There will be 10 games to pick every Saturday. Each week, you assign a confidence total for each game from 1-10 points. If you win, you get that many points. Simple, right? We only have three weeks left, so these are the weeks that really count!
Week 10 was another rough one for the group. Puzzleman81 led the field once again with 42 points. Second place last week was San Diego's Finest with 39 points. RickH219 finished third with 35 points. Only three more entries topped the 30-point mark this week, so there was movement at the top! The Syndicate jumped from third to first with 409 points. jphowell09 slipped back to second place, five points off the lead. San Diego's Finest moved up into a third-place tie with ertlt at 397 points. Fred Smoot Boat Rentals and ryan_peoples2 are tied for fifth with 395 points. That's right...only 14 points separate the top six right now!
lbockenek is in seventh with 388 points. Humble Bee is seven points behind her at 381. XLVIII sits at 376 points. Rounding out the top-10 this week is Kev Shep with 375 points. RickH219 is only one point out of the top-10 and Bret8821 is only three points off the pace. Bamarick is only one behind that, so it's getting tight at the top!

College Football Pick Em Overview
This article will be for the confidence game mode. You can also read my against-the-spread picks here every week for every game so you know how I'm leaning toward that version of the game. Each week, I will recap who's dominating the group before I get into the picks. If you're going to beat everyone, all of the readers will know about it!
Let's get to the countdown! I will count them up from least confident (1) to most (10). You know, for dramatic effect. If I do change my pick or points sometime during the week, I will try to update the article or post it on Twitter. Otherwise, you know all of my picks each week. Good luck out there. This looks like a tough week. There are some close ones on there, but that's what makes this fun!
(1) Oklahoma over Oklahoma State
Spencer Sanders did return last week for Oklahoma State, but he still didn't start the game. That leads me to believe that the Pokes didn't want to use him unless they absolutely had to. We may be in that kind of situation again. Oklahoma is off to its worst record through 10 games since 1998 and is in danger of missing out on a bowl game for the first time since then as well. The Sooners really have nothing left to play for this year with the exception of beating their arch-rival. I'll lay a point on the Sooners doing it.
(2) UCLA over USC
The Trojans' defense has been living dangerously all season long. This is technically a road game, but with the way UCLA fans have shown out for the Bruins, Trojans fans will have no issues commandeering seats to make this feel like a home game for the Men of Troy. Still...DTR and Zach Charbonnet make for a lethal combination on the ground that can finally bring USC down and out of the Pac-12 title game. This is a winnable game for UCLA and I'm trying to pick up points, so here we are.
(3) Minnesota over Iowa
Iowa's defense is something special, but not special enough to stop Mohamed Ibrahim. Tanner Morgan might turn it over enough to lose this, but if Minnesota takes care of the ball, their defense is good enough to hold Iowa. Floyd is going to Minneapolis this year!
(4) Montana State over Montana
The Grizzlies had a rough October, losing three straight to close out the month. The only loss for the Bobcats is to a team you may have heard of: Oregon State. I have no issues taking the home team here. This feels like free points.
(5) Boise State over Wyoming
The Wyoming defense will keep them in the game, but I just don't trust that offense. The spread pick on this one is a little tougher to pick, but Boise is the far better team right now. This feels like an easy pick straight up.
(6) Coastal Carolina over Virginia
This is a really tough one and I might move it down. When tragedy strikes, it can cause a team to implode or it can galvanize them and turn them into a force. There isn't usually an in-between. CCU has the better team and it's not all that close. Virginia just lost three of its own in an act of violence committed by a fourth of its own. How do they recover from this? It's a little different than most tragedies.
(7) Oregon over Utah
I don't trust the Utah offense enough and the Oregon defense is better than we think. It is overshadowed by what Bo Nix and the offense are doing to the point where we don't even think about the bang-up job they did on DTR in the UCLA game. They are going to be hungry after the loss to Washington. If Cam Rising were anywhere near Michael Penix, I might rethink this one.
(8) Mississippi over Arkansas
The Piggies almost beat LSU without K.J. Jefferson, so I am a little nervous about this one. Maybe nervous enough to move it down a slot or two. However, there are a lot of tough games again this week and this one feels lopsided from what we have seen in the last month or so. It stays up here for now.
(9) TCU over Baylor
Keep underestimating the Toadies. I'll keep taking them here and in the spread picks. They are getting plenty of respect here against Baylor. This is a veteran team that is very focused. I don't think they lose it here.
(10) Kansas State over West Virginia
Shutting down an Oklahoma offense that can't get out of its own way is one thing. Beating Adrian Martinez and Deuce Vaughn is significantly harder. Benching J.T. Daniels was addition by subtraction for the Mountaineers at this point. That said, Garrett Greene is going to have much tougher going against the K-State defense...you know...since they actually play defense.
