BALLER MOVE: Add In Standard Leagues
OWNED IN: 40% of leagues
ANALYSIS: While the Atlanta Hawks currently own the worst record in the NBA, a couple of fantasy gems can be found on the roster, with veteran forward Ersan Ilysova being one of them. While the 30-year-old is averaging eight points, four points and an assist per game, his recent form has been better, and his numbers have increased with every passing month. On Thursday night he poured in 23 points, his third time scoring 20 points in the past four games. Additionally, he’s seeing better numbers in the rebounding department, averaging 4.8 in seven games this month.
After missing some time over the past month with a knee injury, Ilysova is back to seeing significant minutes in each game, averaging 25.5 per game this month. Barring any further injuries, expect him to see that consistency in minutes the rest of the way. If that’s the case, Ilysova is primed for a continued rise in numbers, and his recent scoring form suggests he could continue scoring 20 points at a consistent basis and challenge his career-high for points per game in a season. Prospective onlookers should also expect his rebounds per game to creep back up to his career average of six. Still available in 60% of leagues, he’s an excellent pickup at the forward position.
