ANALYSIS: It can difficult to find good pitchers on the wire at this point in the season, as many fantasy managers are streaming like mad with the finish line in sight. That's why it's surprising to see Eric Lauer still available in half of Yahoo leagues right now.
The 26-year-old has been on a sensational run of late, allowing more than one run just twice in his last 11 appearances (10 starts). During that span, he's 5-2 with a sparkling 1.84 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts in 64 innings. He'll face the Cubs on Sunday and the Mets next weekend, both middling offensive clubs. If he's still on your league's waiver wire, go grab him.
