BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 36% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The Rockets don't want to have anything to do with Starter John Wall. At the same time, the Rockets have been playing 32-year-old Eric Gordon as a starter for 11 games straight and counting starting almost a month to this day on Nov. 17. Somethings we'll never understand, though it's a very smart move to roster Gordon before he inevitably got traded to a contender and his rostership goes way above the 50% mark.
Gordon is surely building a strong 2022 resume and a case to indeed join a contender in whatever role they give him. In the 11 starts for the Rocks this year Eric G is playing 33 MPG while using an above-average 21.7% of the team possessions, shooting 12.3 FGA per game... but also turning the ball over a very putrid 3 times per game (ugh). Not a problem, though, as Gordon is hitting 46.3% of the 12+ shots he's hoisting a day while he's hit 2+ treys in each of the past seven games. Uh, oh, flex on the long-range.
The PPG average has gone up from 13 to 15 in the reserve/starter split. Same with the triples (2.0 to 2.5 made per game) and dimes (1.7 to 4.0). Odds are Gordon's playing time and usage rates go down as the season advances either because of 1) Houston playing their youngins and forcing them through the growing pains or 2) whoever trades for him using the vet off the pine on a very specific spot-up shooting role. No matter what, though, Gordon is a fantastic addition these days and a potential niche (three-pointers, shooting percentages) player of interest later on the year.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
