It's an intriguing five-game slate for DFS Premier League soccer this weekend on FanDuel and DraftKings. Below we bring you seven players you should consider as EPL DFS lineup picks for Matchday 27 (on February 10th, 2018).
Not all are top-tier options, as there is a range of DFS value picks, sleepers and high-risk players mixed in.
Consider all of these EPL players for your DFS lineups this weekend; however, at the end of the day, it is always your decision. Good luck, RotoBallers.
EPL DFS Forwards to Consider
Theo Walcott - F, EVE vs CRY (DK - $8,600, FD - $9,500)
Despite a disappointing performance last week against former club Arsenal, Theo Walcott has been in fine form since joining the Toffees in Liverpool during the January transfer window. With an enticing game against a very poor Crystal Palace defense, Walcott could look to add to his goals tally this weekend and should be considered as a strong option in a small slate.
Christian Benteke - F, CRY vs EVE (DK - $5,500, FD - $8,000)
Although the Belgian forward has been in poor form this season, he has four assists and one goal in his last five games and could take advantage of a soft Everton backline this weekend. Benteke has never scored less than nine goals in a Premier League season and only has two this year, suggesting that a correction to the mean is likely, making him more than worthy of consideration in DraftKings contests this week.
EPL DFS Midfielders to Consider
Xerdan Shaqiri - M, STK vs BHA (DK - $9,200, FD - $9,o00)
The Austrian midfielder is a key cog of the Stoke City midfield and has been extremely productive this season, with a goal last week to add to his total of five on the season (along with six assists). Despite his high price, Shaqiri is likely to produce against a weaker Brighton defense and should be considered a top option in all formats this weekend in a smaller slate given that he is the centerpiece of the Stoke City midfield.
Joao Mario - M, WHI vs WAT(DK - $7,500, FD - $8,500)
The new signing for West Ham, Joao Mario has been decent in his first two games and finds himself in a friendly situation against Watford this weekend. The twenty-five year old central midfielder will look to get his first goal of the season for the Hammers, and he carries a decent floor considering that he is new to his team. Look for Joao Mario to be one of the top outlets for his side this weekend as they take on Watford.
EPL DFS Defenders to Consider
Kyle Walker - D, MCI vs LEI (DK - $5,200, FD - $6,500)
Although inconsistent at times, it is projected that Kyle Walker will be the starting right back for Manchester City in this weekend's game against Leicester. Walker has five assists to his name this season as part of the dominant team in the league and will look to find another one or two this weekend. Walker should be considered a near-elite option in a very sparse pool of useable defensive players in all formats (GPP/Tournament).
Cuco Martina - D, EVE vs CRY (DK - $4,500, FD - $6,500)
Although Martina grabbed his first assist last week, don't expect him to have a repeat performance against Crystal Palace despite the opposition's faltering offense. Martina should be seen as a decent play on FanDuel due to his high floor and the likelihood that Everton will maintain a clean sheet this weekend (unless Christian Benteke has anything to say about that). Martina has shown that he can compete at the top level this season, making him worthy of lineup consideration in almost any given week.
EPL DFS Goalies to Consider
Jordan Pickford - G, EVE vs CRY (DK - $4,800, FD - $5,000)
Although it may seem counterintuitive to promote both Crystal Palace's striker and Everton's goalkeeper in the same post, if you do choose to believe that Benteke will not be able to produce in this weekend's game, it may be worth pursuing a stack of Martina and Pickford in the hopes of getting a clean sheet from a team not generally known for maintaining them. Pickford and Martina together make a nice contrarian approach that could net you big in tournament games across both DraftKings and FanDuel this weekend.
