EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview
Southampton vs Manchester United
Manchester United (-175) started their season off well with a 5-1 win over Leeds last weekend. Southampton - on the other hand - lost 3-1 to Everton. United are the largest favorites on this slate and will be confident they can start the season with back-to-back wins. The goal total over/under is also a slate-high 2.5, 3.
Wolverhampton vs Tottenham
Tottenham (+145) had a big 1-0 win against Manchester City a week ago. Wolves lost their opening game 1-0 to Leicester. Tottenham will have the advantage in this game, but it should be close. The goal total over/under is 2, 2.5 with the over at -115, and there likely won't be many peripherals in this game environment. There is no need to have much exposure to this game.
Arsenal vs Chelsea
Chelsea (-125) looked awesome against Crystal Palace last weekend. Arsenal lost 2-0 to newly-promoted Brentford. Chelsea are favored again Sunday against Arsenal. They should control this game and could win big if both teams play like they did last week. The goal total over/under is 2, 2.5 with the over at -110 which is a slate-low total.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders
Southampton's defense was pretty poor last season, and they just let in three goals against Everton. Manchester United is in another prime spot for a big game after they put five up on Leeds. Bruno Fernandes ($23) is a great starting place. He scored three times last week and added three chances created. Fernandes has been one of the best - if not the best - goal producers in the league for months. He is +115 to score in this game, and he's playing on the slate's largest favorite in the game with the highest total.
Getting a secondary Manchester United attacker is a viable strategy. Paul Pogba ($16) had a great first game assisting four of his team's five goals and is in another good spot again. I also like Mason Greenwood ($17) and Daniel James ($13) in a United stack. I would rank them Pogba, Greenwood, James but all are solid plays depending on what you need salary-wise.
With Christian Pulisic ($16) testing positive for COVID-19, we should get Kai Havertz ($16) in the starting lineup for Chelsea. He's a very reasonable price in a good matchup.
Son Heung-Min ($21) scored last week against Manchester City, and with Harry Kane ($22) still potentially not playing, he'll continue to lead the lines for Tottenham. Away to Wolves is not the greatest matchup, but his +170 anytime scoring odds are some of the best on the slate.
Adama Traore ($15), Jorginho ($13), and Albert Sambi Lokonga ($8) are some of the other attackers in my player pool.
FanDuel DFS Defenders
Luke Shaw ($14) and Marcos Alonso ($14) are the two attacking defenders I am looking at paying up for on this slate. Shaw did not have a great fantasy game last weekend, but he was not needed with his team scoring five goals. He still has one of the higher ceilings out of the defenders and this is another strong matchup.
Alonso, on the other hand, had a great first game for Chelsea with a goal, two chances created, and two shots on goal. He'll have the freedom to do some attacking again with Chelsea's formation and a decent matchup.
Sergio Reguilon ($10) can provide some attacking upside for a cheaper price. The matchup is not ideal, but he should have some attacking upside in addition to some defensive stats in this game environment.
There are some really strong value defenders on this slate including Japhet Tanganga ($6), Maximilian Kilman ($7), and Pablo Mari ($9).
FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers
David de Gea ($13) is a solid option on this slate. He has the best odds for a win bonus. Southampton's attacking group is also watered down compared to last season, and United can definitely keep a clean sheet in this one.
Hugo Lloris ($11) was in my article last weekend and had a great game against City. If Tottenham's defense can get the job done in this game against Wolves, Lloris could be in for another big fantasy performance.
Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
