Welcome back, RotoBallers! The weekend arrives early in the EPL with a Friday afternoon game this week. It is a pretty intriguing game compared to the Friday game we had last weekend. I will still be breaking down that game in full for you here. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Friday's slate.

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview
Everton vs Tottenham
Both of these teams are mathematically still in the race for spot in a European competition next season. A win would mean a large step forward in that race. A loss puts your team in dire need of a miracle, and a tie does no one any good. Everton play host for Tottenham (+125) who are road favorites here. Everton surprisingly have not good been at home this year as they sit 14th in the home table. They're also not in good form having gone four league games now without a win (three of those games were against bottom-half teams). Tottenham have not been very good either coming off a 3-1 loss to Manchester United and a 2-2 draw to Newcastle before that. This should be a pretty even game, however, which usually means a balanced lineup is the way to go. The goal total over/under is 2.5.
FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders
Harry Kane ($15) lost his goal streak over the weekend against Manchester United, however, I am headed right back to him on this single-game slate. He has the most goals this season out of any player in this game and the highest anytime scoring odds at -125. Everton's defense is not anything to be afraid of even at home where they allow 1.53 goals per game. Kane has a great floor too as he leads the team in SOG/90 and chances created against an Everton team that is in the bottom half in allowing those meaningful peripheral stats.
Kane will be the most popular captain play on the slate, so you can go for Son Heung-Min ($14) instead. His goal upside does not match Kane's at +125 to score, however, he did bag one against United last week that broke a long goalless drought for him. He, too, has a strong floor with his shots and chances created among other defensive peripherals.
Everton are struggling to score right now. They have scored more than one goal in a game just once in the last two months. Tottenham's defense has been solid this year even on the road. Therefore, I'm not really targeting either of Everton's forwards. I will be interested in James Rodriguez ($11) though. Tottenham allow the 7th most chances created in the league at 9.58 per game. Rodriguez and Gylfi Sigurdsson ($8) are in great spots at home to take advantage of that matchup.
Aside from Tanguy Ndombele ($5) for his attacking upside and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg ($6) for his defensive peripherals, I am not targeting any other value attackers.
FanDuel DFS Defenders
The attacking upside has not really been present for either Lucas Digne ($10) or Serge Aurier ($9) lately which will make it difficult to stomach those price tags here.
The rest of the defenders on this slate are also lackluster, but we must choose one. Michael Keane ($9) has been the most consistent of the bunch with defensive stats, but for the same price, you might as well consider Aurier then. His defensive stats have been okay, and he does still have attacking upside even if the stats haven't shown it recently.
Eric Dier ($6) is also a little cheaper than he should be compared to some of the other price tags for these defenders. His time on the field has been limited recently, but he does have four straight double-digit games.
Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
