EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview
Wolverhampton vs Leeds
These two teams have both been pretty firmly in the middle of the pack all season. Wolves (+155) are favored slightly at home in this game coming off two wins and a good draw against Leicester in their last three EPL games. Leeds just got beat by a Pierre-Emile Aubameyang hattrick on Sunday and are in pretty similar form to what they have been all season long. This should be a fairly evenly played game with chances at both ends. The goal total over/under is a modest 2.5.
FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders
Wolverhampton's defense has been strong at home where they only allow 1.0 goals per game. Patrick Bamford ($15), unsurprisingly, has the best odds to score in the game at +140. I would expect those to be higher if Leeds were at home. However, Bamford is in solid form with two goals and three assists in his last four. He is also the best scorer on the slate.
Leeds away defense is atrocious with 2.17 goals allowed per game. I am extremely interested in both Pedro Neto ($14) and Ruben Neves ($12) against this weak defense. Plus, both attackers are in good form. Neto is averaging 20.7 fantasy points over his last games which includes a goal and an assist. He is creating a good number of chances too which gives him a nice floor. Neves has two goals in his last three games. He has been scoring more than Neto recently, but his floor is much lower. They're a nice pairing to get on this slate, but that requires a Bamford fade.
Raphina ($12) has been great recently both from a floor and a ceiling standpoint. He's very affordable on this slate even though the matchup is not the best. He's a great way to some sure points in this game. Plus, he has nice anytime scoring odd at +300.
Joao Moutinho ($7) is one of the better value plays on the slate. He should be able to create some chances, get some peripherals, and possibly even provide an assist in this plus matchup.
FanDuel DFS Defenders
There are not many great plays at DEF on this slate with two teams that are lacking in most defensive peripherals categories. Nelson Semedo ($8) is a solid play on this slate. Seven of his last nine EPL starts have been 11+ point games. He has not shown much upside into the upper-teens or 20s recently, but he should be able to collect enough defensive stats to continue his nice run of double-digit games.
Romain Saiss ($9) will likely be tasked with filling in for the injured Willy Boly ($4) at centerback in this game. That is going to really limit his upside. He had been a threat in front of goal earlier in the year, but this position change is going to cost us a good play on this slate.
When it comes to consistent defensive peripherals, Liam Cooper ($10) is the top-dog on this slate. His last game where he did not score 10+ fantasy points was November 2nd. That's 13 straight double-digit games. Now, the question remains whether you're really looking for just double-digit games for a whopping $10 on this slate.
Pascal Struijk ($5) is the best value option at this position on Friday.
