The first few weeks of any sport are always more difficult to predict, and soccer is no exception. Fulham will be making their home debut this weekend against a Leicester side that conceded 18 Shots Against last week and one Goal Against.
After a spirited display last weekend at Old Trafford, Fulham come into this match as favorites. If Leicester’s backline can hold back Fulham, like Manchester United did for most of their match, Hermansen could quickly rack up value.

Jeremy Doku - DK $8.4K || FD $19
Opponent - Ipswich Town FC
Manchester City is the clear favorite on the slate, and for good reason. Furthermore, the majority of the field will look at ways to fit in, City striker Erling Haaland. However, there is another forward option from Manchester City who is a fraction of the cost, and it is winger Jeremy Doku.
The Belgium striker is barely above $8K on DraftKings after having an optimal debut against Chelsea last week, where he registered two shots, one created chance, four crosses, and one tackle. Doku is expected to exceed expectations this weekend against an Ipswich side that was dominated by Tottenham at the weekend. However, his time could be cut short if Savinho is to sub in for him this weekend after being cleared by bench boss Pep Guardiola.

EPL DFS Midfielders
Will Smallbone - DK $5.3K || FD $12
Opponent - Nottingham Forest
Midfielder Will Smallbone may become the highest-owned player on the slate due to his floor, ceiling, and salary. In his return to the English Premier League, the central midfielder produced four shots, nine crosses, and two tackles. He also had a monopoly on set pieces.
With favorites, Manchester City on the slate in a terrific matchup, finding optimal value plays, especially in ‘CASH’ contests becomes vital. Nottingham Forest conceded the fourth-most Crosses Against Per 90 in their home debut last weekend against AFC Bournemouth. If the Cherries can do that at City Ground, imagine what the Saints can do in their home debut.

Destiny Udogie - DK $4.4K || FD $11
Opponent - Everton
Wingback Destiny Udogie had a less-than-stellar season debut in the 1-1 draw at King Power Stadium last weekend. In 90 minutes, he amassed one cross, four tackles, one clearance, and one block. Luckily, he gets another optimal opportunity against the Toffees this weekend who are notoriously known for conceding big chances to attacking defenders.
All of the top defensive options this weekend will be costly when building lineups, leaving Udogie as the optimal play with both a floor and a ceiling.
