EPL DFS Goalies
Jordan Pickford - DK $4.4K || FD $10
Opponent - Aston Villa
It has been over a week since Jordan Pickford last made an article, and he did not disappoint. The goalkeeper registered seven saves and conceded one goal in a 1-0 loss at Vitality Stadium. In Pickford's most recent five domestic appearances, he has 25 saves, four conceded goals, and two clean sheets.
Today, he and the Toffees play host to Aston Villa. Villa is playing with inconsistency right now and, at times, is struggling to convert chances. If Pickford can lock in early, he could very well ship a tournament.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Henderson (DK $5.3K || FD $12), Sá (DK $3.6K || FD $7)
EPL DFS Forwards
Anthony Gordon - DK $10.3K || FD $21
Opponent - Wolverhampton
Anthony Gordon continues to produce no matter the competition. The winger in his last five fixtures–four starts–in all competitions, has three goals, two assists, 13 shots, 10 created chances, 17 crosses, nine corners, five tackles, one interception, and four clearances. He also continues to share a role on set pieces, offering a slight floor.
The Wolves remain a bottom-ten club in most metrics in a Per 90 viewpoint. The visitors are also the second-worst in Crosses Against over the season. Gordon will be expected to maintain value at a minimum.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Watkins (DK $9.4K || FD $20), Sarr (DK $8K || FD $19)
EPL DFS Midfielders
Eberechi Eze - DK $9K || FD $21
Opponent - Leicester City
Eberechi Eze may be the highest-owned player at any position on the slate, due to his role for the Eagles. The attacking midfielder, through his last five domestic appearances, has two goals, one assist, 16 shots, eight created chances, 23 crosses, 16 corners, and nine tackles.
The Foxes, in Per 90 metrics against, are a bottom-three club in all meaningful metrics, and over the season, they are the worst against Crosses. This could not set up Eze any better for both a floor performance and also the possibility of a ceiling performance. On a three-match slate, Eze will be required.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Tielemans (DK $7.8K || FD $16), Lindstrøm (DK $6.1K || FD $12)
EPL DFS Defenders
Lucas Digne - DK $6K || FD $13
Opponent - Everton
With a lack of projected high-owned, high-salaried players, paying up at defense is an option. This leads to wingback Lucas Digne of Aston Villa. The defenseman, over his most recent five domestic fixtures, has two shots, five created chances, 30 crosses, 14 corners, nine tackles, five interceptions, and 11 clearances.
Digne continues to join the attack from the flank, and despite the aforementioned Jordan Pickford keeping Everton in matches, they continue to play poorly defensively. This sets up Digne for the potential of a big performance.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Muñoz (DK $5.9K || FD $15), Livramento (DK $4K || FD $10)
Corner Takers
- Everton: Lindstrøm/Young
- Aston Villa: Tielemans/Bailey
- Leicester City: Ayew/El Khannouss
- Crystal Palace: Eze
- Newcastle United: Gordon/Hall
- Wolverhampton: Cunha
