BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore had his best game of the season last week, catching eight passes for 85 yards. With Jameis Winston under center and Amari Cooper now gone, Moore should continue to see more opportunities in the passing game. The fourth-year wide receiver has seen 18 targets over the past two games.
As a result, he can be a potential flex play in 12-plus team leagues in Week 9. However, Moore does have a tough matchup in this game against the Chargers secondary. Los Angeles has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year.
Browns pass catchers with Jameis Winston today:
Elijah Moore: 29% targets, 23% air yards, 16.5 points 📈
Cedric Tillman: 22%, 39%, 28.9 📈
Jerry Jeudy: 20%, 24%, 12.9 📈
David Njoku: 17%, 15%, 17.1 📈Upgrades everywhere. pic.twitter.com/0Itwf8eL52

Still, the Browns wideout should see enough targets in the slot to be a high-floor flex option this weekend. The Chargers are allowing 10.7 PPR fantasy points per game to slot wideouts this season, where Moore plays 65% of his snaps. He has also finished as a top-30 fantasy wide receiver in back-to-back games, so the potential is there for him in Week 9.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
