POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end QB3
ANALYSIS: The Los Angeles Chargers will turn to Easton Stick at quarterback in Week 15 when the team faces the Las Vegas Raiders, but that doesn't mean fantasy managers need to turn to Stick when building their Week 15 lineups.
Stick, a fifth-round draft pick back in 2019 by the Chargers, saw his first game action since 2020 last week, coming in relief of Justin Herbert after Herbert was injured. He was 13-for-24 for 179 yards in the 24-7 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Let's keep this simple: against a Raiders defense allowing the 10th-fewest passing yards per game in the NFL this season, Easton Stick is a must-sit player. This is fantasy football playoff time and unless you're in a dynasty Superflex league where every other starting QB is rostered and your other QBs are injured, there's just no reason to take a risk on Stick. That's not to say he's destined to fail this Thursday night, but fantasy football is about balancing risk and reward. The reward here simply doesn't outweigh the immense risk that comes with playing Stick.
Leave him on your fantasy sidelines in Week 15.
