Early DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/11/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Zach Edey - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

The madness rolls on with another split slate (why????) on DraftKings, so two-a-days aren't over just yet! We've got some really good semifinals and finals on tap today and tonight. We start this off with Alabama and Missouri in a SEC semifinal and a Big Ten(14) semifinal between the streaking Buckeyes and a Purdue team that breaks a press like fourth graders.

Next up is an AAC semifinal between Houston and Cincinnati. The second SEC semi between A&M and Vanderbilt starts sometime after that, along with Penn State and Indiana. The last game of the matinee is Tulane and Memphis. These semis are going to be fun!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/11/23, starting at 1 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Kendric Davis, Memphis ($9,200)

It's not often that I view a guy at this price as underpriced, but today is one of those times. Davis put up 47.75 DraftKings points and 54.5 DraftKings points on the Wave this year. His first appearance in the AAC tournament was another 50+ against UCF. All told, Davis has topped 50 DraftKings points twice in the last three games. Given his history with Tulane this year, I wouldn't be shocked if he hit it again.

Jaylen Forbes, Tulane ($8,500)

Forbes has at least 27 DraftKings points in eight of the last nine games. One of those was a 37.75 DraftKings points output against Memphis. He was even better in the first meeting against the Tigers. Memphis is a good team, but they don't really seem to have an answer for Forbes. These teams had two high-scoring affairs this season and should again, providing us with a lot of DFS goodness.

Bruce Thornton, Ohio State ($6,200)

How do you fade Thornton right now? He has 98.75 DraftKings points in the first three games of the Big Ten(14) Tournament. He cleared 25 DraftKings points in five of the last six games of the season. The Buckeyes are a young team that is getting hot at the right time. Thornton appears to be at the center of that. The Buckeyes have won five of those six games since Thornton started piling up points.

Andrew Funk, Penn State ($5,100)

DraftKings finally raised the price on Quinerly. Instead, I'll move down to a veteran that has struggled at times this year but is also getting hot at the right time. Sound familiar? Funk is the same price as Quinerly was yesterday except he is playing a ton of minutes. Funk has played 158 minutes over the last four games, putting up 102.25 DraftKings points in that span.

Also consider: Jalen Pickett, Penn State ($10,200); Marcus Sasser, Houston ($8,800); D'Moi Hodge, Missouri ($7,700); Tyren Lawrence, Vanderbilt ($6,900); Mika Adams-Woods, Cincinnati ($5,900); Ezra Manjon, Vanderbilt ($5,700); Brandon Newman, Purdue ($4,600); Dan Skillings, Cincinnati ($3,300)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($10,900)

TJD continues to prove that he's the best player in college basketball, and not just for DFS purposes. I'll die on this hill. That three straight games over 50 DraftKings points and 14 of the last 16 over 45. No one else comes close to that kind of consistently high output. Value is a little messy on this slate, but I'll take a chance on a cheaper player to get a sure 50 at the top.

Deandre Williams, Memphis ($9,100)

Williams was dominant against Central Florida last night, scoring a whopping 35 points on 23 shots and pulling in more rebounds (13) than shots he missed (11). That big game isn't a fluke. Williams racked up 94.25 DraftKings points in the two games against Tulane this season. He made Cross look big and slow and likely will again.

Jordan Wright, Vanderbilt ($7,100)

Wright has four straight games over 30 DraftKings points since Liam Robbins went down again. He's going to have his hands full against A&M, but keep in mind that those four games have come against Mississippi State, LSU, and Kentucky twice. They aren't flukes. Wright should at least flirt with 30 again today.

Charles Bediako, Alabama ($5,100)

Bediako is a high-energy bench player for the Tide that often flirts with double-doubles despite only playing half the game. He's a very efficient shooter, great on the boards, and a rim protector that Alabama really doesn't have in the starting lineup. Bediako has 12 straight games in double digits for DraftKings points and has topped 20 in four of the last five games.

Also consider: Zach Edey, Purdue ($11,100); Brandon Miller, Alabama ($9,800); Kevin Cross, Tulane ($8,400); Felix Okpara, Ohio State ($4,800); Miller Kopp, Indiana ($4,500); Chandler Lawson, Memphis ($4,000)
