Today, we will look at our MLB team's early 2024 fantasy baseball closer and relief pitcher rankings and tiers for 5x5 mixed roto leagues. Saves are one of the most volatile categories in fantasy baseball. However, the good news is that many teams have a clear top option for saves heading into the 2024 season.
Emmanuel Classe led the majors in saves with 44, followed by Camilo Doval and David Bednar, who tied for second place with 39 saves a piece. There were 23 relief pitchers who racked up 20-plus saves in 2023. The biggest news in the offseason was superstar closer Josh Hader signing a five-year, $95 million contract with the Astros. With Hader heading to Houston, Ryan Pressly will move into a setup role.
