The Eagles are clearly moving on from the Chip Kelly era as they have dealt two of his big acquisitions from last season in Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell. Pending a physical, the Eagles are going to receive some currently undisclosed draft picks in exchange. The move helps the Miami D/ST in 2016, and it frees up cap space for Philly. Not that people spend too much time agonizing over which defense to draft, but it's worth keeping an eye on. Also this trade could have a ripple effect in terms of who the Eagles add through free agency and the draft so stay tuned.
